Started summer injured from state, but recovered by the end. Competed at NBNO and qualified for AAU JOs in 400 and 4x4. So blessed to have a great Zephyr’s 4x4 and become an AAU All American.

Prelims: 3:11.06 (3rd Leg)
Finals: 3:10.66 🥉 (2nd Leg)

Overall, this high school season exceeded all expectations I had. Unfortunately I didn’t do my best at the most important meet of the year. I still made finals and I hope to bounce back even better this summer and into next year.

A 21.98 sadly isn’t enough to get to finals in the 200m, but still an awesome day for Murray. He’ll still run in the 400m finals.

Reminder! This 3A meet prelims today were 🔥 arguably the top class will get the least amount of recovery for Saturday's final. This can help, dont snooze on this until December, work your emailing fingers this summer. @MSHeartland_ @IllinoisRunNews #BTFSTATE26
