The fact that people date for 3-5 fucking years and still break up scares the living hell out of me.
Imagine wasting half a decade on someone who ends up a stranger.
Five years.
Thousands of kisses.
Countless nights in the same bed.
You know their body, their secrets, their childhood trauma.
You met her parents.
Spent holidays together.
Talked about marriage.
Picked names for kids who'll never exist.
All that shit just to end up watching her marry another dude.
That's the terrifying part about relationships.
You can do everything with someone except grow old together.
Five years of love.
Five years of your life.
And in the end?
You're just two strangers who know exactly how each other tastes.
