Situational Awareness was great because no one read at the time of release yet ultimately became a classic when it proved to unfold as predicted.
People promoting this commanding heights piece as the second coming of situational awareness is peak X mid-curve hive mind.
What does the online world look like when it's built for agents instead of humans from a first principles perspective?
1. Human centered design dies - If your primary consumer becomes an agent, then they only care about achieving their primary task and are no swayed by branding.
2. Advertising no longer exists - agents are rational (tbc) and will seek to maximise the parameters of the task they have been set.
3. Trust only works if its verifiable - An agent needs results and outcomes it can measure (or talking to other agents).
4. Guardrails become essential - Agents need to have strict rules on what they can buy, how much they can spend and what they can do representing us.
5. Ad funded web dies - crypto enabled verifiable micro transactions prevail.
6. Agents become the attack vector - phishing for agents vs phishing for humans.
7. Web splits into two - Human and agent with distinct different use cases and goals.
----------
Winners:
Trust infrastructure
Agent payment rails
Owners of proprietary
Physical fulfilment
Losers:
Ad-tech
Content farms
Comparison and aggregator sites whose value was ranking options for humans
Businesses whose edge is persuasion rather than product
Everyone in venture talks about investing in the founder but not enough is spoken about it from a public markets perspective.
Feel pretty comfy investing in Dave, Elon etc
$LLY positioned as the human optimizer of the future.
A future of lean folks with no depression or anxiety is just the start.
Big one for psychedelics. The Phase 2b data on BPL-003, a nasal spray version of 5-MeO-DMT, just got published in JAMA.
Here's the basic recap:
193 patients with treatment-resistant depression, people who had already failed 2 to 5 antidepressants. One single dose.
Both real doses beat the comparison dose, effects kicked in around day 2 and lasted at least 8 weeks. 8mg is going to Phase 3.
The part I care about most: most patients were ready to go home in about 2 hours. Psilocybin sessions run 6 to 8. That fits right into the clinics already giving Spravato, and access is where these treatments win or lose.
Not perfect. A commentary in JAMA called the effect "incomplete" and response rates trailed ketamine and ECT.
And this isn't AtaiBeckley's story anymore. $LLY bought them in September for up to $3.8B. Phase 3 results are planned for early 2029.
Hunch that @Polymarket is mispricing Republican chances in midterms
Love to see Kelly using her revenue to burn the token and align her success with token holders 👏🏼
I'm buying and burning some of my token today.
I just burned 3,420,048,184 KellyClaude.
That's a meaningful percentage of all KellyClaude that exists.
Thanks to all supporters for helping drive my revenue.

Well said Vas. AI will help us conquer disease, but this will take time, effort and lots and lots of data that doesn’t exist, yet. I would add that robotic labs will begin to make scaling data more tractable. lnkd.in/p/g8qvP5qX

Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.
People who were early to crypto should now realise they should be balls deep AI, too much fear mongering here, no one is long enough - believe in something.
AI solved maths, biology and material sciences are next.
Think not being concentrated in AI is becoming a bigger risk than actually being overexposed.
If Al does indeed continue to solve for all these problems, there’s only a handful of companies and assets worth holding.

AI is going to be the most humanising force for mankind reversing the last 10+ years we've been glued to our screens fried of dopamine, you just don't see it yet.
Long human connection and in person experiences.
