How does @CoinDCX make money when it keeps spending millions cleaning up its own mess? $44M hack in July 2025. Now another ~$16M loss after, by its own admission, the system meant to move deposits out of previously compromised wallets failed. How does that happen after you already know those wallets were compromised? Endless lineup of one BS episode after another. CoinDCX absorbed the latest loss and customer balances were unaffected. Good. But covering the loss doesn’t answer why the controls failed again. How exactly do we expect Indian regulators to look kindly upon crypto when some of the biggest names keep giving them reasons to distrust it? The incumbents have the resources, reach and responsibility to set the standard. They should be the strongest case for why this industry deserves trust. Security, accountability and clear communication should be the bare minimum. You’re the biggest name in Indian crypto, which already makes you a flag bearer for the industry. You don’t get to deflect the responsibility that comes with it

Probably a much more interesting trade today. FDV $36M while treasury holds $22M, trading at ~1.6x of RFV. Worth scooping some $NET at these prices if you believe the RH casino revives + $NET revenues and trading volume trends back up again.
$NET is definitely one of the more interesting DeFi experiments right now. Major DeFi summer vibes. But if you’re trying to decide whether to buy it, ignore the headline APY for a second and read this 👇 The entire trade comes down to one question: Can treasury value per NET grow faster than NET supply? Think of NET like a tiny country with its own currency. Say the protocol owns $10m of assets and there are 1m NET. That means NAV = $10/NET. If NET trades at $100, you’re paying $10 for the assets and $90 for future growth. Why would anyone do that? Because the premium itself helps the protocol grow. When NET trades far above NAV, the protocol can sell/mint NET in exchange for real assets. So the loop looks like: price goes up → protocol raises assets cheaply → treasury grows → backing grows → narrative gets stronger → price goes up Then add the 5% trading tax. Every buy and sell pushes value into the treasury. So: hype → volume → fees → treasury growth → more hype Now, that's reflexivity 🤌. Then you see the giant staking APY and think: “great, I’m earning 0.45% every 8 hours.” Not really. Most of that is newly minted NET. If everyone doubles their token balance while total supply also doubles, nobody became 2x richer. The number that actually matters is: TREASURY RFV / FULLY DILUTED NET SUPPLY If treasury grows 5% but token supply grows 10%, your wallet may show more NET while your economic ownership is getting diluted. Now add Morpho. $NET holders can take their staked NET, wrap it into wsNET, post that as collateral, and borrow USDG. The loop: $1,000 NET → stake/wrap → deposit wsNET → borrow $500 USDG → buy $500 more NET → stake/wrap again You started with $1,000. Now you have ~$1,500 of NET exposure, thanks to good old leverage. And the degen version keeps going: NET → wsNET collateral → borrow USDG → buy NET → wsNET → borrow more USDG → buy more NET As long as NET goes up, this is gasoline on the flywheel. Your collateral rises in value, your borrowing capacity rises, and you can keep levering. But when NET falls, the exact same mechanism runs in reverse. Example: You have $1,000 of wsNET collateral and $500 of debt. If NET falls 20%, your collateral is now worth $800. Your debt is still $500. Suddenly your LTV has gone from 50% to 62.5%. If that hits the liquidation threshold: liquidator repays your USDG debt → receives your wsNET collateral → sells/unwinds it → more NET hits the market So the downside loop becomes: NET falls → LTV rises → liquidations → collateral gets sold → NET falls more → more liquidations gg looopors. Important: this does NOT affect someone simply holding or staking NET. You only get liquidated if you borrow against it. And today the looped market is still small enough that I wouldn’t call this the core risk. But if Loopback becomes popular, it can materially increase both upside reflexivity and downside violence. This is why I don’t think NET is simply “a Ponzi.” There are real treasury assets and real value-capture mechanisms. But its market price can still behave like a Ponzi-style reflexive asset. The protocol could survive perfectly while the token falls 80-90%. If NAV is $10 and you bought at $100, “backing” does not protect your $100. It protects the first $10. The other $90 is the growth premium, and premiums can disappear very quickly. There’s also the pTEAM question. Management appears to have the ability to acquire NET at a very low strike relative to market price/NAV. If that entitlement expands with supply, it becomes a meaningful dilution overhang. So would I buy NET here? Not because of the APY. Not because “treasury is growing.” I’d buy only if I believed: treasury value PER fully diluted NET can compound fast enough to justify the premium I’m paying today. My rough mental model: - Near NAV: interesting asymmetry. - 3-5x NAV: paying for serious future growth. - 10x+ NAV: making a venture-style bet that hypergrowth + reflexivity keep working. And that’s really the trade. NET can be a very good protocol and still be a very bad buy at the wrong price. The question isn’t: “Is NET backed?” It’s “What am I paying today for every $1 of underlying value, and how fast can that $1 actually compound?”

India needs @BL_labs_xyz
P2P in India has a pretty insane failure mode: You sell ₹1L of USDT. The buyer sends you ₹1L. Turns out those rupees are downstream of fraud. Now ~₹4.5L across 3 accounts is frozen. You can tell people to stop using P2P all you want. They'll stop when compliant on/off-ramps are actually better. This is a product problem as much as it is a compliance problem.

Indian stock exchanges are closed again today. That's three days off while the global economy runs 24/7. @BL_labs_xyz is our best shot at giving Indian traders markets that stay open when the world does. 🇮🇳 / acc
Indian stock exchanges are closed today for Mumbai's municipal elections. The fact that our exchanges, which have international linkages, are shut down for a local municipal election shows poor planning and a serious lack of appreciation for second-order effects. As Munger said: "Show me the incentive, and I will show you the outcome." The holiday exists because no one who matters has any incentive to oppose the market holiday. It also tells you how far we have to go before global investors take us seriously.

This man is a hero. Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain of flydubai Flight 1073, fought back after being stabbed in the cockpit. Despite being severely injured, he managed to unlock the cockpit door - allowing Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew to intervene and save all the passengers. Together, their extraordinary courage saved 174 lives. Indian. Israeli. Emirati. Different nationalities. One extraordinary act of courage. 🇮🇳🇮🇱🇦🇪 We wish Captain Machchhar a full and speedy recovery.

If you're in AI, pivot to crypto
Bahahahaha Anthropic is a total dog of a company. Spent $12.6bn to make $4.6bn in revenue in 2025, $7.33bn of which was compute costs. Operating loss of $8bn. Losses getting worse. Weird that Reuters doesn’t have the 2026 numbers from the prospectus reuters.com/business/finance…

The next few years will probably see a massive massive uptick in gambling, speculation etc as more and more young, disillusioned Indians realise that hyper gambling and capital markets are their only ticket out of poverty / mediocrity.
Looks like rupee has lost 42% of it's purchasing power since 2014 One basically lost money to inflation and countless taxes if they didn't save in gold

Give Indians better assets to invest in and watch this trend change. Although he has a fair point, and there is something to be said about the cultural impact of Desi boomers' being cautious and propagating a saving vs investing ideology that I think contributes to things like this. India's love affair with gold goes back centuries. On the other hand, we've walled off most productive assets (AI + frontier tech) from ever being accessible to the average Indian or we drown them in unnecessary paperwork and force them to use middle men and intermediaries (have you ever tried buying a foreign asset through your AD Bank? its tedious af) when really, its another tactic used to enforce capital controls and prevent capital flight with the INR struggling to hold value globally. I don't think we're ready to have that conversation yet. On the flipside, the recent $10Bn initiative to support the local semi-conductor industry is more of what the nation and economy needs.
"Indians have accumulated huge wealth in gold which stores value rather than funding businesses or infrastructure. Need to Shift more household gold into productive assets." — Uday kotak, CEO Kotak

While the rest of the world’s been in a raging bull market and inflation continues to go up, domestic markets and FDI took a massive hit in India thanks to excessive taxation and capital controls. Wonder if someone’s building a path for Indians to to get access to global markets instead of being sidelined from the greatest bull market in the history of humanity 🧐
