So very sorry to hear of the passing of longtime KATV News Director Jim Pitcock. Can’t imagine how to count the stories he covered and the young broadcasters he mentored. As @johnbrummett said earlier today, he was one of the good guys. RIP Jim.

I served in Congress. I know how it works. It was highly charged politics, but we actually had bipartisan meetings and discussions. We had to because there was a Democratic President. We got things done and we balanced the federal budget. I know the budget can be balanced because we did it.
