For months, my male HR manager had been sexually harassing me at work. At first, I thought he was just being friendly, but soon, he started making comments about my body, asking me to spend time with him outside work, and sending me unwanted messages late at night.
Whenever I rejected his advances, he made things difficult for me at the office. He would criticize my work, call me into his office for no reason, and use his position to intimidate me.
Things got worse when he finally told me that I would lose my job if I refused to sleep with him. I was shocked. The very person who was supposed to protect employees was using his position to take advantage of me.

I was drugged and raped when I was 20 years old. I woke up on a mattress on the floor with him sleeping beside me. I slowly raised my hand above my head because I remember my purse being there. I slowly grabbed my phone and stood up. He turned quickly and said, where are you going? I said I have to pee.
