I knew this gag had an original reference but this is my first time seeing it. Stewie wasn’t even exaggerating. 😂
What the hell has happened to the hobby of pokemon collecting?? Went to Smyths this morning and the queue was horrendous!! And I guarantee nearly every single person waiting has listed their purchases on eBay and fb for 3 times the price! What the actual hell??

When you think about it, it’s actually crazy how much Pokemon can help you financially.
I get it people are trying to make some money on this and I get it when it comes to single cards, but sealed products, I mean come on!
Opening packs reminds me of the wonderful times I used to have original base set back in the 90s but now it sickens me that people have turned it into point to make money.
Please can we stop with the mad queues, stop with the scalping, and allow stores to sell pokemon properly online and in store and allow everyone to enjoy the hobby the way it used to be! I love pokemon but I hate what this hobby has become.

Pokémon scalpers are complaining that the franchise's new 30th Anniversary set has been too generous with its rare cards — leaving resellers unable to generate their usual profits. bit.ly/4xNLPRK

I’m really looking forward to meeting and connecting with so many amazing women in the Twitch community and seeing where this next chapter takes me.
