Trump: “I didn't marry my sister. I had two wonderful sisters — one is still with us. Elizabeth. She's wonderful. But I didn't — I never proposed to either of them. They're beautiful, but I never — I was never particularly attracted to either of them. That's not my thing.”
Well, there it is. Another great achievement for King Donald. He didn't marry his sister.
We urgently need to record this historic accomplishment as yet another cognitive test passed with flying colors. It deserves its rightful place alongside his legendary ability to identify a snake among camels and giraffes.
Meanwhile, Trump haters still think he's an idiot.
Such narrow-minded people.

🟡 Great to see that @CarolineVoaden is trending, despite it being about Farage’s thuggish behaviour towards her.
Caroline would be a really good choice for @LibDems leadership 👏
‘It's absolutely laughable... he was the one that grabbed me and pushed me out the way.’
Lib Dem MP Caroline Voaden addresses her ‘altercation’ with Nigel Farage, which he says led him to miss yesterday’s Budget.

Barriers to trade & growth reduce trade & growth. FACT NOT OPINION.
Regulatory & customs borders between different legaly regulated & customs territories are the hardest of barriers to trade & growth. FACT NOT OPINION.
Brexit UK (by leaving a single market of regulations & customs union) resurrected 31 of the former borders against the EU27/EFTA4 & 28 of the latter borders against the EU27/Turkiye. FACT NOT OPINION.
Without removing either of these borders against & into any other country. FACT NOT OPINION.
Economic contraction & lower growth, when compared to remaining in the SM/CU, were always thus Brexit guaranteed. Just a matter of how much. FACT NOT OPINION.
All else is deliberate attempts to mislead & guff.
After a decade it is is still happening.

In case you missed it
The UK used to grow 2% every year
Since Brexit it's been 0.1% every year
Boris Johnson called Brexit 'the sunlit uplands'
Nigel Farage in 2016 said, 'economicaly, we'd be better off than where we are today'
Time to rejoin the EU
Victoria Derbyshire, "What did we learn about our living standards?"
Ben Chu, "1% growth over 10 years"
"We used to grow 2% every year"
That's one way of illustrating the enormous economic price Britain has paid for Brexit #RejoinEU
The OBR estimates that Brexit will leave the UK economy around 4% smaller in the long run than it would otherwise have been, with both imports and exports taking a substantial hit.
We were promised greater prosperity, more opportunities and a stronger economy outside the EU. Instead, we've added significant trade barriers with our largest trading partner during a period of extraordinary economic stagnation.
Brexit isn't responsible for every economic problem Britain faces, but it has made the challenge of improving living standards considerably harder.
And ordinary households are living with the consequences of that decision.

Nigel Farage skipped the Budget and is obviously lying about the reason. He did not place a prayer card himself. The leader of a major UK political party literally skipped ***the budget*** because he couldn’t be bothered, and he needs to be held to account for it. @reformparty_uk are not a serious party.
NEW @Telegraph understands Nigel Farage did not display a valid date stamp on his prayer card and it was removed as per Chamber protocol.
I also understand Mr Farage did not attend prayers and did not approach Commons staff regarding a seat reservation.

You’re the Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, not the Trade Secretary.
You can’t sign a trade deal with Taiwan or anyone else, that’s reserved to Westminster.
You signed a non-binding MOU and rebranded it a “landmark trade agreement” for the gullible.
Classic Reform: inflate a photo-op into a lie and hope the lazy and uninformed never check. Disgusting
This morning, I signed a landmark trade agreement with Tainan in Taiwan, strengthening ties between our regions and creating new opportunities for trade, investment and innovation.
Greater Lincolnshire has a huge amount to offer, and this agreement is another step towards showing the world what we do best. 🇹🇼 🇬🇧
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
UK mayors cannot sign binding international trade agreements (reserved for central UK government); official descriptions refer to this as a non-binding MOU for local cooperation, not a landmark trade deal.

Two thirds of Londoners now say they would vote to rejoin the EU.
Brexit was supposed to settle Britain’s European question for a generation.
Instead, ten years on, public opinion is moving in the opposite direction and the economic costs are becoming harder to ignore.
The Brexit cat is well and truly out of the bag.

Reform’s Robert Jenrick said his party would use “lethal force” against people crossing the channel in small boats.
This inflammatory and inhumane rhetoric does not reflect the values of the people of Wales.
We have a duty as politicians to call out such dangerous language.

In 2016 Nigel Farage said that leaving the EU would mean fewer (white) migrants from the European Union.
Suggesting we would have more (black and brown) migrants from Commonwealth/other countries.
So when Brexiters are upset at th emigration mix, not only were the told this, but they voted for it.
