It’s 36 years today since David Platt was denied this sensational bicycle kick goal at Stamford Bridge, because the ref blew up for half time.
But look at Platt’s reaction. A few shakes of his head, no hissy fit or histrionics. Just gets on with the game.

🖤 DEP

FIFA council members expect to have to surrender phones to comply with "strict protocols" to maintain confidentiality if they want to view "key" World Cup sell-off documents in person. FIFA has yet to say who decides what the "key doucments" are.

Max Dowman serving a three match ban while both those Nyoni tackles aren’t even a yellow. Difficult not to despair really.

The absolute state of this from Mac Allister.
If an Arsenal player did this you would never hear the end of it.
Ref was awful today for both teams. Liverpool absolutely should have had a penalty. Nyoni easily could have been off inside 10mins, but at least he didn’t allow himself to be conned here.

26 years today- Where has that time gone?
There is an emptiness without you in it. You were such a huge part of our lives, and despite all these years, it’s never been quite the same. We learn to live without you, but that doesn’t mean we stop missing you.
As time passes, people move on, inevitably, that connection isn’t what it once was, and perhaps never can be, somehow, keeping your memories and your life alive on here helps and thanks to all the kind people who share their personal stories, mean so much. Thank you ♥️♥️♥️

🚨 Rice “That defensive line we have, that togetherness we have. Its nothing like I have seen before. Manager had a really honest convo with me, he still thinks I can do more for this club and this badge.”
Man of the match given to Sir Dec.

Referee has been awful. There's been a constant string of terrible decisions from the moment he let Nyoni get away with a clear yellow card inside a minute (and then another soon after).
Clear penalty for Timber's pull on Isak, baffling that wasn't given on pitch or by VAR.
