Trying to keep sense of humor during these most unsettled times. May be funniest voicemail I’ve ever received. #restlessinaltoona
BYU losing means the most hilarious storyline of the (PSU) season is probably out the window: Kalani Sitake winning the national championship.
Not that PSU doesn’t have its share of problems, but Michigan has now gone the last two first halves without scoring a single point.
Up 3-0 in second quarter, #PSU appeared to record a safety when Cael Brezina stopped UM’s Bryson Kuzdzal in the endzone. Officials, however, granted forward progress, and Matt Campbell said afterward the official admitted to a “quick whistle.” Would/should have been a big play.
Todd Blackedge said 45 years ago that you're supposed to overthrow the sidelines and underthrow the middle. That hasn't changed.
Granted, the Nittany Lions are playing a team even more disappointing than they've been, but credit their defensive tenacity, sticky coverage and receivers doing a better job getting to the sticks.
In the (Big) House where the great Charles Woodson played, maybe #PSU ought to be using dynamic freshman Josiah Zayas on offense, too.
Daryus Dixson, talented corner. He is also good at taunting and has gotten away with it (vs. USC and now this game) ... so far.
Congratulations to the powers that run college sports on what may be the worst decision they’ve ever made — a 24-team football playoff.
Unregulated NIL, revolving-door transfer portal, desperate enough to seek Congressional help, tradition way out the window.
Take a bow, fellas.
On (lengthy) list of what #PSU must address, include third-down conversions. Just 2-of-12 vs. USC and now 16th of 18 in the Big Ten (36%, 30-of-82) and 97th nationally.
Redzone alert: The two 8-yard runs by Peoples and Hanson's gutsy 3-yard TD may be the Lions' best run-game sequence of the year.
So here we go with this #PSU defense already. Fresh from its gouging at Northwestern, it allows fourth-and-4 conversion (crossing route) and 19-yard TD pass to wide-open receivers. No defenders in same zip code.
