Presenting for the first time Hyperwheel Overdrive running on a #MetaQuest 2 (90 FPS)!💥Watch the chaos unfold on Rocky Ruins Raceway with 4 bots... Coming soon to #AppLab!
Hyperwheel Overdrive v0.13.0 update will feature the following upgrades:
✅Unity 2021 LTS -> Unity 2022 LTS
☑️Oculus XR plugin backend legacy VrApi -> #OpenXR
✅Meta SDK v55 (dynamic resolution for Android!)
☑️water caustics on #PCVR via water shader + toggled projector combo
Finally confirmed Steam build & #Quest2 Android build have networking connectivity. Still some minor bugs, but Hyperwheel is basically on the other side of this Unity 2022 LTS upgrade turmoil at this point (also upped Meta SDK to v55 for dynamic rez)! #madewithunity #indiegamedev
Hyperwheel Overdrive has been a fully released PCVR game on Steam for one year now! Hunting some bots on Volcanica Island to celebrate! 🍺🎉 #VRgaming

Hi, I'm Cody Jassman. I started a #VR game studio in 2019.
@NeonEngine is the result of my passion for video games & programming. It represents my attempt at capturing, in the wonderful new medium of XR, the fun my brother & I had playing NES / SNES / N64 in our youth.

Every time I read "AVP", my brain says "Alien Versus Predator". It's going to be awhile until that stops happening... probably 5 years, haha.
The orange bot stole my kill and then kept running into me as a combat strategy... #VR
Sometimes you win the laser boat joust, sometimes you lose the laser boat joust... Whatever happens, it'll happen quickly! #Quest2 #MetaQuest
