Twelve years of central government cuts have decimated our local council services. Since 2010 Sheffield has endured £288m in funding cuts to it's annual grant or £2.1 billion in total over the last 12 years.

Thanks for the plug @nighat_basharat has been working hard to improve consultation on these schemes, most recently organising a drop in session and writing to local residents to help them share their views on the Wolseley Road part of the scheme (see letter below).

Huge thanks to everyone who visited our stall at Sharrow Festival yesterday. Together, we raised an amazing £293.25 for Nether Edge & Sharrow Foodbank! For anyone wondering about the final results for our 'knock em of their perch' game, Boris was the the favourite to go.

If you're at Sharrow Festival today, come visit our stall and have a go knocking a politician off their pedestal, all in aid of Nether Edge & Sharrow Foodbank. We'll be here till 5
