We had a pastor in our religious Space the other day who swore by god that, although there might be contradictions in the Bible, we would never find a single author contradicting himself. We showed him several examples in the so called book of moses, and he performed every mental gymnastics imaginable to explain them away. Now, I wonder how pastor kiwa will explain this one, where jesus himself makes two contradictory statements, both recorded by john under the supposed inspiration of god. John 10:30: “I and my Father are one.” John 14:28: “My Father is greater than I.” Same jesus, Same author, Same supposedly divinely inspired Gospel.
