Fantastic works happening over at @NewhamHospital this weekend. Artist Lauren Godfrey's 3 storey commission for the main entranceway includes this beautiful mural. Shapes extracted from the mural will also be translated into sculptural elements and vinyl for the lower floors

Such a useful sim. Im all my time in theatres in three countries i have never been involved in an OR fire or evac simulation and rather embarrassingly that includes my time working @NHSBartsHealth sim centre!
Fire! Simulating the evacuation of theatres at BHOC to familiarise ourselves with equipment and procedures. Thanks to all participants and to the fire safety team for all their helping in planning, facilitating, observing and feeding back @NewhamHospital @NewhamTheatres

Every day, all across the NHS & social care, staff are choosing to risk their lives in environments steeped in Covid.
And nearly 900 of them to date have paid the ultimate cost.
