I have some sad news for those who were looking forward to seeing the Hitrole on the C2 Ariete, I managed to find out the status of it, although it was liked by a high-level committee, interest fizzled out due to a lack of budget and, consequently, a lack of a formal requirement.

Sent to me by a follower, another A2CS UOR was spotted, here seen at Circo Massimo for the Villaggio Difesa event which will begin on the 30th of October.
Can’t believe that I’d ever get to see the C1 Ariete with the original blowout panel design but here we are. Crazy to think it was removed, alongside the ammunition compartment in the turret. Makes sense why it’s still offered for the C2 Ariete program upon request.
Another photo of the NMBT from Leonardo Rheinmetall Military Vehicles. What’s interesting to see is that the gunner optic which at Eurosatory was just another New Attila mockup, instead now has been replaced with the Lothar-SD.

Italian donated VCC-1 Camillino in service with the 167th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army. Some of these platforms retained the extra armour Italy had previously installed. Interesting to note in the first picture that some kind of RWS has also been installed.
The first production M-346/T-346 for the Frecce Tricolori recently was rolled out at the Leonardo Venegono factory. The Italian government has acquired 15 of these to replace the MB-339’s, first official deliveries will occur in 2027.
VBM Freccia IFV prototype being tested by the Italian Army, here seen with the OTO TC-25 Hitfist turret. This turret is the same one seen on the VCC-80 Dardo platform.
Some footage of an early Iveco SuperAV prototype being tested by the Italian Army at the Centro Polifunzionale di Sperimentazione (CEPOLISPE).

Our very first look at Leonardo’s Hystrix 40 ADS. This system was recently spotted undergoing testing, it’s equipped with a Marlin 40 ILOS mount which was initially designed to be used on naval ships. Will update if there’s more info.
