Here are the leadership philosophies, and my ethos, I build teams around. This grouping has succeeded since 2004 in creating high-performing teams with minimal attrition. In no particular order:

How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer?
Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours.

Been playing with Daybreak Blue from OpenAI (cybersecurity model) and our team @daypartai is having fun for sure.
Functionally so much of ad fraud dips into cybersecurity work as these models keep evolving hoping we get specialized ones but this model is already awesome.

Lost my phone at the office and spent 30 minutes turning the place over. Find My was disabled by MDM.
Out of ideas, I asked Claude how I could find it. It suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength, then wrote me a meter in about a minute.
I walked around watching the number climb. Found it.
Apparently you can just make the tool you need now.

After 20 years chasing ransomware gangs for other people and organizations, I'm finally doing it doing it under my own company.
Launching Arkem Cyber today. Not another IOC feed, not another framework, original research on the adversary, built for the humans who have to make the call.
Also, I don't have a graphic designer, so forgive the logo. I made it myself, between getting this thing off the ground.
If you're a security leader who's tired of dashboards that can't answer "so what do we do about it?", let's talk: arkemcyber.com

This is an insane story. The DOGE whistleblower who said that login attempts were made to the NLRB from Russian IP addresses minutes after DOGE got access had his brake lines cut and photos of him walking his dog from a drone taped to his door after Musk attacked him on Twitter

This is the most sober and sobering analysis of AI investing that I have seen. The cannibalizing the passive flows in idices has been buzzing in my head for weeks now...

Needed to pull out an important part of the interview.
AI is often justified by comparing it to Amazon Web Services' ($57bn) or Uber's ($32bn) losses, when its costs/losses are hundreds of billions of dollars worse.
There'll also be little useful infrastructure left behind.
