Been working hard behind the scenes to write up this masterpiece of an Esper Goryo's guide.
Happy to announce the first edition is now available to purchase ahead of all events happening this weekend.
V1 of the guide includes over 8k words on the following:
- Introduction of the deck and my experience
- Deep dive into all deck combos
- Layers of info on deck components and complex decisions points
- Complete SB mapping for 20 modern decks
I also have at least 4k words of future updates planned to go live ahead of RC LA including:
- Full mulligan guide
- Info on piloting all phases of the game
- Comprehensive walkthrough of playing against each top meta deck

12th Place at SCG Baltimore!!
Went 11-3-1 alongside my friend and team co-captain @RideTheIguana
Here are some basic thoughts about Esper Goryo’s:
7-2 after Day 1 of #SCGBaltimore Great showing for Team Quantum with three members still live for top 8
From my perspective, the matchups are not as polarized as people or data suggest. I evaluate format experience, deck expertise, and list selection far higher than a match win % number.
Goryo’s has game against every deck in the format, especially Broodscale & Prowess.

Decided to record and post the Modern Meta Presentation that I prepared for Team Quantum ahead of RC Baltimore

Standard 4CC guide is updated for our new base-black list. This deck is an excellent choice if you are looking for something strong and fun to play in the current RCQ season ⭐️
Made semis at my local RCQ. 4CC is alive and well. Some notes on this event and additional thoughts if you want to play this deck…
Hard to say if base black is better than base white but Duress, Shoot the Sheriff, and Strategic Betrayal all impressed. Cover-Up not being dead in the mirror over DOJ is huge.
Im a fan of SB flash threats over cards like Emeritus or Thor.
