I’m very excited to say that I’m bringing my band to the Rochester International Jazz Festival for the first time as a leader!
6.29.23
615 and 10PM sets at Max of Eastman Place!
This festival was integral to my development as a young jazz musician during my high school years...

Our closing Headline Concert is a celebration of the legacy of the great JJ Johnson during his birth centennial year. You'll hear ITF Artists Vince Gardner, Wycliffe Gordon, Gunther Bollmann, Natale Cressman, and Nick Finzer backed by the Strata Big Band!
“You never know who’s listening…”
The amazing story of how Rufus Reid got the gig with JJ Johnson!!
