Is feedback always welcome for a guitarist? I still haven't recovered from Hendrix.
For the guitar geeks, my latest video is just up. Hope you enjoy - feedback always welcome

According to an analysis by the Washington Post, in the US it is not just the Republicans who have given up on climate change: the Democrat party has stopped talking about it, hardly mentioning it during Kamala Harris’s campaign for president.
The topic has dropped to the bottom half of a table of 23 concerns among Swedish youths. Even the European parliament has now voted to exempt many companies from reporting rules that require them to state how they are helping to fight climate change.

And also in @ftweekend.com my restaurant review: I went to Legardo, from Spanish chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho, ate the delicious three week old roast suckling pig and then disappeared down a philosophical rabbit hole about the morality of doing so.

Best attend 'Advertising: Who Cares?' then. October 16th.
I was worried they were going to make me sound a bit miserable and defeatist but actually think this piece gets my views over well
I just think ads could be a lot better and we just need to accept the reality of what normal people actually get served

Yes, it's more efficient, it's easier to fish for fish in a tiny pond, but you're not going to get far fishing there for life, and there's a whole series of ocean's out there.

Advertisers don't shun GB News for political reasons. It's because their audience is relatively small with an unexceptional profile and they are available elsewhere.
Ironically, because they watch less BBC they are easier to reach on streaming platforms, for example.

The channel can't have it both ways. Why would any advertiser want to be associated with antisemitic conspiracy theories, vaccine misinformation and the uncritical regurgitation of Kremlin propaganda?
It's a bit late.

What could possibly go wrong?
A new report from @dentsu_global predicts an “algorithmic era of media” and that major strides towards a fully addressable, shoppable, and accountable media ecosystem will be made next year.
Absolutely and the future of the Holding Companies depends on this transition. Who's next?
Publicis really bulking out their Digital Commerce and Retail Media capabilities.
After Omnicom acquisition of Flywheel, very few left on the block.
Great purchase.
