There is a reason many hockey scouts were comparing Lindstein to a Swedish version of Pietrangelo. #STLBlues
This is fun in so many aspects. But from a process standpoint, I hate that it provides positve reinforcement that highly inconsistent play can still be successful. #STLBlues
I think Dvorsky could use a good month or so down in Springfield. It isn't the end of the world for a 21 year old center to need more seasoning and icetime down in the AHL. You also aren't a bust at 21 years old. #STLBlues
If I knew the #STLBlues didn't have enough talent to be a playoff team, I would say so. They have the talent though. You are letting these players off the hook saying otherwise. You can't do what they did against Dallas, Vegas, and Boston without it. It's effort/attitude issues.
The #STLBlues should have brought this spirited play from the opening puck drop. Again, it's a consistency issue. But a bad penalty gets you within one goal into the third period if you can capitalize.
Robert Thomas buries one on a great pass from McTavish. Keep building. #STLBlues
#STLBlues are starting to check to create turnovers this period. Creating high danger chances as the result. Good sign.
I absolutely love the look on Jim Montgomery's face right now. He is absolutely pissed and it's exactly how he should be. If he is worried about losing the room, that's an Alex Steen problem...not his. #STLBlues
Time to get your bets in on the #STLBlues...a Jon Hamm appearance will bring a different team in the third period.
What we've learned tonight. The Jon Hamm bump only happens when his appearance is during play. Which is unlikely to happen anymore with the simulcast with TV/radio. #STLBlues
#STLBlues need to quickly find some jump to their game tonight. No real intensity to this one and just going through the motions again. That was a horrible penalty call though.
That wasn't an icing. If it was an icing, they weren't have taken a TV timeout. Somehow, Joey and Chris still can't tell that it was blown dead. #STLBlues
Lack of backchecking from the #STLBlues forwards gave Fox all day to score that one.
