I’ve been lucky enough to do lots of great sporting stuff in my life but nothing - and I mean nothing - has been more bonkers than this! What a place. What a stadium. What an atmosphere. 💥💥💥

A tip top time in wonderful Sri Lanka - Colombo and Kandy were both tremendous with great company and @englandcricket actually winning matches! 🇱🇰🏏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 In three decades of following the team, not sure I remember five wins in a run? Think I’ll celebrate with a haircut! #SRIENG

So another Ashes trip done, consistent with previous. Now been to: Perth five tests, no wins Brisbane, five, no wins and Adelaide four, no wins. Thanks for the consistent results @englandcricket - this loss was not about ability but approach, application & arrogance 👎🏻 #Ashes

Always good to be back at 92/92! Now seen League Football at 159 grounds. Great to see @LE_ROCROC and big thanks to @ClandonSteven for helping sort me a ticket. Smiles were in short supply after that 90 minutes 🙁🙈

Premier League Summer Series Champions, you’ll never sing that! 🇺🇸😃

Great to get a win on the board with Phil! Big thanks and congratulations to @D_Johnston01 all at the @JPOwenRacing yard and to James @ValueRacingClub - thoroughly deserved by all! 🏇🏻😃

So far, so good! Two great 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏏 test wins in two great cities - Christchurch and Wellington have both delivered!! The Basin Reserve a particular personal favourite and this time we have been totally spoiled with a hat-trick, Joe Root century and a series win. Happy days! 😃😎

My favourite of all geeky apps (Futbology) has told me I can raise my bat 🏏 for half a century of countries. Albania is a tip top place to do that, too⚽️🇦🇱😎🏔️

Went somewhere new last week. The Faroe Islands. They are absolutely spectacular. If you haven’t been, get the place on your travel list! The football there was bang average but I loved every minute in the country. Highly recommended. I’ll be back, that’s for sure… 😃🇫🇴👍🏻

Seriously, @wearejames I have been watching you for (literally) decades and that was absolutely off the scale at @ScarboroughOAT tonight - congratulations to all involved #whataband

In the words of @Evra … I LOVE this game! ⚽️😃👍🏻 - and here with the best people the world @Ervandenpolder @AndyMcGarrie

The end of an Irish odyssey for me - my 26th - and final - racecourse in 🇮🇪🐎 Have loved the journey and big thanks to @AndyMcGarrie @tinawaterson @AlwynOllieMcKee @BBCMarkSimpson @HSwinbank for being there for 26/26!

A thoroughly enjoyable evening for @HSwinbank and I at the excellent @BallinrobeRaces tonight - my 25th 🐎 racecourse (of 26) in 🇮🇪! Only Wexford left now, see you there at the end of the month (as long as it isn’t called off again!) @AlwynOllieMcKee @BBCMarkSimpson

Always good to be at an ‘I was there’ sporting moment and Hyderabad felt like that! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏏😃 A top trip with top people… hope that everyone out there cheering on @englandcricket for the rest of the tour has a great time… oh, and massive congratulations to @tomhartley100 🌹

Just home from a long, wet but rewarding trip with @RoySwinbank to see a 3-2 @radcliffeboro win. Big shout out from your Alty Fan Club to @JHulme1 for a trademark winner - class! Also thanks to the lads for the offer of a 🍻 after, sorry we had to go! @amjonno @BernMorley84

Farewell to Ahmedabad. An amazing vanity project of a stadium ✅, another disappointing @englandcricket performance, the cheapest Ubers on planet Earth, great food, friendly people… and not a single beer in sight for three days! #detoxholiday 🙈 Onwards to Pune!! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🍻🍻🏏🏏

For anybody that is interested (or not) Tramore was my 22nd racecourse in Ireland. And an absolutely lovely spot 🇮🇪🏇🏻😃
