Spending money on land for a new ground, that the majority of people don't want, rather than investment in a team that needs it. Clubs run by fools

They say a fish rots from the head down which, if you think about it, is a wonderful analogy for where the once great football club called Manchester United currently finds itself 😡🇾🇪#GlazersOut #RatcliffeOut

Spot on 👏👏
Replying to @henrywinter
As a Forest fan, I have zero love for United. My two penneth is: their culture has been suffocated. First by the Glazers and further by Ratcliffe. United is being led by unlikeable, passionless, cynical and penny pinching characters. They set the tone and, like a waterfall, it flows down, through every channel and into every corner. They have sucked the life & soul out of that football club. It’s only their hardcore, longstanding fanbase keeping their identity alive and yet they are doing everything to get them gone with their draconian season ticket policies.

A great few days in Como with @CarolAppleton1 just a shame I had to watch that shower of s**t last night in a deluge of rain. A good group of Como lads in a bar after too 👍#como1907

The 99 treble was the greatest moment I have ever experienced as a Utd fan, if I woke up this morning and found out that Utd cheated during that period to win it, I would be mortified. I most certainly would not be saying “they can’t take that experience away from us” because they can. The present moment always defines the past and the present moment has defined City’s greatest moments as a fraud. The history they cling to will ironically haunt them forever.

Very well said, @henrywinter I really hope the club learns from this. We’ve seen what happens when fans finally come together and fight back. United got this completely wrong, and while we wait for their official statement, I suspect they’ll try to save face. It’ll no doubt be a carefully spun response highlighting how many touts they caught, completely ignoring the innocent supporters caught in the crossfire, and the genuine stress and anxiety people have suffered over whether to reply or wait for the next move. While it took longer than it should have for everyone to get behind this fight, I’m grateful that, in the end, fan groups united and pushed back together. Even when this blows over, we can’t drop our guard. Underhand tactics have been used to disrupt supporters for years, and I’ve called them out repeatedly. It’s time for the club to implement a fit-and-proper strategy, one that tackles actual ticketing issues directly without targeting innocent fans. Look at Facebook for starters - it's wild on there. I’ll keep fighting this fight and highlighting the flaws in the system. Unity is key now, and working together will always bring better outcomes than fragmentation.
Catch the touts, don’t alienate the innocents. Manchester United are a great club but they can go about handling sensitive situations naively and, in this case, aggressively. On the way to a works do but needed to address this issue. Work with fans, not seemingly against them.

Another new ground for me today, with the Clwydian Range in the background, to see Spain beat Croatia 3-0 in the 1st of the semi finals. A great setting in the summer, but I can guarantee it’d be miserable in the winter months 🤦‍♂️#U19EURO

🚨 Ex Man Utd player Gordon Hill replies and says: “To me that is a consolation. He should have been knighted for his work, if Beckham, and Southgate get it so should Lou. shows me not what you know but who.”
🚨 BREAKING: Manchester United legend Lou Macari has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours. The former United striker has been recognised for his outstanding work with the Macari Foundation, which has helped tackle homelessness in Stoke-on-Trent over the past decade. A fantastic honour for a true footballing great 👏
