Second night of trials. Felt the opening was too tall so I fit and reinstalled part of the cutout to lower the valance/smoke shelf. Seems to have improved draft and reduced smoke escape. Also finished lining the front face with brick.

Fairly regular thing of late. Ran up to KC to re-stock, going to try and ferment our own Natto. This mornings was natto, whole grain jasmine, red and brown three ladies rice, cucumber, raw egg, cold steak, green onion, fermented cabbage. Typical Missouri breakfast, lol

Don’t get out of town much. We’ve eaten a lot of Vietnamese over the years. Ate greek for three meals this weekend. Picked up a starter pack for my new Natto arc at Pan-Asia after leaving the Grandkid’s today. 😬
