Today's mission, old Wylex unit and voelcb out, new s type RCD, fused switch, tails, Hager board, bonding, etc, etc @ElectriumNews @hageruk

Replacing this 1970s lot today, TT system, new tails, earth rod, 80a fused switch and S type RCD at origin

Had to connect some old machines today, easy enough you would think, amazing that the previous owner thought them to be safe.

Mains position near completion today, under floor heating in same cupboard, contained it all in mtrs100x50 trunking, nice @hageruk board with SPD and loaded with all rcbos.

Wiring a fine fan in a welding factory today, tried an @SWAonlineuk Storm gland at the motor end, nice product, got one of my isolator hats on top of the outside @EuropaComponent isolator 😁

MK upset me today, I knocked out the 32mm knock out for the tails gland before I installed the din rail, and it was right under the SPD so useless, had to drill my own hole to the left.

Our @HotpointUK washing machine was one of the recall models, had it replaced yesterday with a similar model by 'expert logistics' they refused to plumb it in cus the drain hose was joined, it was against company policy apparently, they would have had to fit a jubilee clip 👎

Nice little extension completed today, took a 60a sub main to feed this little @hageruk board in the garage

Pulling in some 6mms in trunking today, how can this foreign RR Kabel have BASEC approval? Well, it says BASEC on the side, does BASEC mean anything? We should not be sold rubbish like this from our wholesalers

First intersection cut in and bolted up, suns shining as well

Trunking job coming on nicely this morning, first bit ready to cut into existing and then into new @SchneiderUK db

Ordered some trunking flanges for this job, they were just tiny bent bits of metal! I left them at wholesalers and made my own, proper job

Just back from seeing an old customer, they have just had their central heating replaced, new gas Combi boiler, all new pipes and new rads, looks a tidy job, but no filter or magnaclean device by the boiler, any #plumbers out there got any comments on this?
