1st ⭐️ of the Heritage Classic Weekend:
You #NHLJets fans who showed out for this City all weekend. Thank you for a hell of a weekend
Full link to thoughts on the weekend it was + the game itself and where this is all going:

Winnipeg got to host a spectacular event all weekend long with the Heritage classic and everything around it
We’ll dive into the weekend it was around town, and I suppose some of the game that brought them to 5 winless
7 PM Central, come hang out:

Oh we should be having Samberg/Morrissey trade convos but those convos shouldn’t be to try and put a band aid on this. Quite the opposite approach is necessary
This is a great point from @WiebesWorld on @SportsTalkWPG about individual points not mattering on a singular line if you don’t have balance
Wondering when him, and more importantly the team, will recognize this and apply the same conversation to the duo whose points are celebrated for playing 93 straight games together on a bottom 10 franchise in the sport in that timeline
We are so back
I realize that anyone against it at this point will probably never change their mind. But are we really about to go 82 games last season and 84 games this season of the top two guys producing on the top line and acting surprised that they aren’t getting scoring elsewhere? And act like there isn’t a potential solution right in front of our faces?
The 32 Thoughts wrap up of the entire Hellebuyck situation is less than flattering on his WPG handled this and arrived where they did.

Good morning!
What a great experience in WPG. I’m not the biggest outdoor game enthusiast. Far from it, actually.
But the event was great, the weather was perfect for it, and Winnipegers’ passion for the game really made it special.
Not really typically a sympathetic individual when it comes to NHL coaches
But like acquiring Dawson Mercer for Connor Hellebuyck, a new coach ain’t saving this team. It’s another shuffling of the deck chairs.
The real problem is higher, and it’s too far gone to save. Enjoy the comedy in it this year, cause it’s going to be a long one.
The Winnipeg Jets lose their 5th straight and 6th in 7 nights
They scored 1 goal.
The Heritage Classic and Alumni Game were great times
Instead of a show tonight, we’ll recap the weekend it was in Winnipeg tmrw night at 7 PM
A Night of Heritage
See ya post game to celebrate the weekend it was in Winnipeg around the event
