Art that requires PRESENCE..
Celestial Body
@celstialbody21h
Make art that is the antithesis of doomscrolling. Art that requires thought, art only full felt when given pause, which holds as bulwark against this mental erosion Make art that makes a mockery of 1.5 second attention spans and smash cut content. Make, in a world that takes.

The human touch.. Makes it more than simply.. A computer painting. The work is human made.. With digital tools. Leaving a touch life.. Through every stroke.

As I regain my ability to see with both eyes.. I'll say one thing is for sure.. I am beyond grateful for the ability to see. It may sound wild to say that.. But truly.. Life has its way of reminding you of how fragile it is.

Also update on Mavv for those who have been so gracious in caring about him.. Mavv is doing the he has since our mishap.. can see his spunk & excitement for all things returning! So much so.. Instead of sitting on the driveway like we have for the last few days.. He's decided it's walk time! Which nearly brought tears honestly.. Successful walk we had.. A snacks to reward of course! — Tis a good day.. this moment brought me a deal of joy & energy. I myself.. Am healing.. eye is much improved. & my ability to use two eyes is slowly returning. If you came this far.. Thank you.. you are one of those whose energy has helped us get through. ♥️

I am an artist that creates what I see and feel, I create art even when I am in my weakest, most of the works I have been creating of recent is just based on what I have been feeling of recent, mental state and my rebellion. I feel lucky to be able to create art, saved me fr.

apocalypse

I spent 20 years helping leaders face massive social crises together: war & peace, drug & gang violence, immigration conflicts, etc One thing I learned is that community is really hard to build & shatters easily The stakes are high. Think about it: there's no other scene like this one. What we have here is rare & precious. We need to care for each other with the bigger picture in mind.

GM. ☕🖤 Life is borrowed time. We don't get to decide how much of it we're given, only what we do with it. Make it count. Memento Mori — @Minotaur_Man 🎨 Pay It Forward. 🫶
