Good news: Bonnie Henry will not be replacing Theresa Tam as Chief Medical Health Officer of Canada.
No idea if all the public agitation helped this decision along or if the hiring committee came to this judgment on their own, but either way, good work.

ALT In 2003, as Toronto’s associate medical officer of health and SARS response lead, Dr. Henry was well-positioned to understand this. But early in the COVID pandemic, as B.C.’s public health officer and national media darling, she dismissed airborne precautions, undermined respirator use, and downplayed the importance of HEPA filtration and improved ventilation, even in high-risk settings.

I’ve been seeing some classic Monday morning quarterbacking as the necessity of #COVID19 lockdowns are being discussed once again. As usual, we’re seeing a lot of hyperbolic statements and attempts to create conversations around comparative suffering which is always just a 1/
So, I forgot to shake the test cartridge my first time using a Pluslife Covid test. Does that invalidate the results? (It looked like the little chambers were full before I put it in the dock, if that matters.) Anyone know?
