Let’s examine what you’ve actually delivered, because this list is a combination of outright lies, misleading claims, and accomplishments you’re taking credit for that someone else started. ❌ Secured the border completely. Lie. Border apprehensions have declined dramatically, but they haven’t stopped. People continue crossing illegally, and drug trafficking continues. Even your own Customs and Border Protection statistics contradict the word “completely.” A substantial reduction is not the same as eliminating illegal crossings. ❌ Largest tax cut in U.S. history. Another lie. Your 2025 tax legislation doesn’t come close to the largest tax cut when measured against the size of the economy. The Tax Foundation ranks it sixth. Much of the legislation simply extends existing tax cuts, while the Congressional Budget Office projects that legislative changes, primarily your tax bill, will increase federal deficits by approximately $3.4 trillion over ten years. And tariffs which are attacks on the American people have wiped out any savings they might have from a tax cut. ❌ Cut $1.6 trillion in wasteful spending and burdensome Biden-era regulations. You’re calling reductions in Medicaid and food assistance “wasteful spending.” Those programs provide health care and food to millions of Americans. And you’re deliberately ignoring the fact that your legislation increases the federal deficit rather than reducing it. Cutting assistance to struggling families while increasing the national debt isn’t fiscal responsibility. ❌ Investment accounts for newborns. The accounts are real, but you’re pretending they’re something they aren’t. Eligible children born from 2025 through 2028 receive a one-time, taxpayer-funded $1,000 investment. That money isn’t available to buy food, diapers, or formula today. Families struggling to feed their children cannot pay their grocery bills with an investment account their child generally cannot access until adulthood. ❌ First-ever nationwide school choice program. Lie. You created a federal tax credit for donations to scholarship organizations, not a nationwide school-choice entitlement. States must voluntarily participate, the credit doesn’t begin until January 2027, and taxpayers can receive up to $1,700 in credits for qualifying donations. That’s taxpayer money supporting a program that won’t even operate in every state automatically. ❌ Lowest violent crime rate in 126 years. You’re deliberately confusing violent crime with homicide. The FBI reported a historic decline in violent crime in 2025, but the 126-year comparison concerns the homicide rate, not the overall violent crime rate. Violent crime was already declining under Biden. It fell from 389.2 offenses per 100,000 people in 2020, the final year of the convicted felon’s first administration, to 362.9 in 2024, and then to 327.6 in 2025. You cannot rewrite that history and pretend the improvement began in January 2025. ❌ Biggest decline in prescription drug costs in 60 years. The decline is real. Your claim of exclusive credit is is not. Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act in 2022, authorizing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices. The first negotiated prices took effect in January 2026. Generic competition and other market changes have also contributed. You’re claiming credit for reductions driven by legislation Republicans opposed. ❌ American energy dominance. There is no such thing as energy dominance. The United States was already producing record amounts of oil and natural gas under Biden. Your administration inherited that production capacity. Meanwhile, your war with Iran has disrupted global petroleum markets. The Energy Information Administration reported gasoline today averaging $4.29 per gallon and diesel averaging $6.34. If your definition of your fake energy dominance fantasy includes Americans paying those prices, you need a new definition. ❌ 1 million new private-sector jobs. And the jobs numbers are even worse than you claim. After the BLS revisions, total nonfarm payroll employment increased by only about 776,000 jobs from the January 2025 employment level through September 2026, not more than a million. And don’t pretend those are all private-sector jobs. That number includes both private-sector and government employment. It works out to roughly 39,000 net jobs a month. For comparison, the economy added about 15.4 million jobs during Biden’s four years, including the pandemic recovery. So spare me the victory lap. After 20 months, total payroll growth hasn’t even reached 800,000 jobs. ❌ Reshoring U.S. manufacturing. Announcing investments isn’t the same as opening factories or creating jobs. Manufacturing employment fell throughout 2025 and recovered some ground in 2026. As of September 2026, manufacturing employment remained approximately 41,000 jobs below its December 2024 level. Individual companies are expanding domestic production, but your sweeping claim of a manufacturing resurgence isn’t supported by the overall employment numbers. ❌ And so much more! You left out the 3.7% inflation rate, rising gasoline and diesel prices, higher household energy costs, cuts to food assistance and Medicaid, and the trillions in additional projected federal deficits. You also left out the economic damage from your war with Iran, which has disrupted global energy supplies and increased costs for American businesses, farmers, and consumers. Americans don’t pay their mortgages with political slogans. They don’t buy groceries with press releases. And they don’t fill their gas tanks with promises. If Republicans have delivered so much for American families, explain why so many of those families are paying more for basic necessities while your administration celebrates itself. That’s the record you should be defending, not this collection of lies and misleading talking points.
