Early in the night, but I’m seeing NJIT, Vermont and Bryant all in front. It was noted to me today that the Æ was favored in only 2/9 ÆxMetro challange tonight. Let’s see how that plays out.

5 minutes till tip off. I’m already fired up after seeing the worst flagrant call ever in the NJIT women’s game. Refs don’t know ball. Learn what a basketball move is bozos. Roll tech.

Iona fans will try and tell you that they are“in the city”…they aren’t.Don’t believe them. They wish they had half the grit that you get from being in the great city of Newark. @dustyrayWEC and @therimraper both already got cut off at McGoverns.Gonna be a Long night for the gaels

The metro conference wishes they had a sick Twitter tag like the Æ. The Æ x Metro challenge is about to be cinema. Cant miss TV, NJIT vs Iona.

I’m not upset at that outing. On a night vs a projected tourney team. Scoring 60 points on a night where David Bolden is shut down by one of the best defenders in the A-10. You have to be excited for the complimentary pieces for once he gets going…

A lot different than a few years ago vs Miami, the foundation is there time to just work and get used to playing with each other and pull out some W’s over the next few weeks and have some momentum into conference play

… there was definitely no quit. This will be one of the tougher games this out of conference schedule and the defensive effort and scheme were there. Dayton had to work for a lot of there points. Not all were free by any means. This is a good direction…

I’m not mad at that half of ball. In all honesty Dayton is going to be a tourney team. Lots of room to get better in this second half offensively and keep playing the brand of ball that we want to and getting better at it regardless of the outcome.

The under 8 media timeout, I’m enjoying the brand off defense so far, sure Dayton is going to make a few but they haven’t gotten a ton of easy points so far, just a few fast break points. Offensively , like to see some tough drives to the rim and see what opens up in theremainder
