Musicians must #StandWithHibaq
Her name is Hibaq. She's next in line to be fired by @JeffBezos for refusing to bring COVID19 from Amazon warehouses to her nephew and niece with asthma.
Tell Jeff Bezos: All eyes are on you. If you fire her, you build her army.

Amazon is a monopoly and must be broken up ilsr.org/amazons_tollbooth/
"artists pls stop releasing projects with Amazon Music
the internet does not want to listen to an artist on Amazon Music
singles albums eps mixtapes, all not on amazon"
Fixed it for you.
Stand with Hibaq Mohamed. Stand with Amazon workers. #StandWithHibaq
🔔@Amazon's trying to fire another Black whistleblower🔔
Hibaq Mohamed has led the fight for better working conditions at a Minnesota warehouse for yrs

Amazon has added over 30 new police contracts in the last month.
1,330 -> 1,360
Since we posted this, @JeffBezos has added over 30 contracts with police departments, including in Las Cruces, New Mexico - where a police chief resigned after a suspect was choked to death.
Wow so much amazing music you can directly support today via another no-fee day on @Bandcamp, instead of giving even a cent of your money to @amazonmusic
Do I even need to tell you who provides cloud services to Palantir
15 Latino members of the House are demanding details on Dept. of Health and Human Services contracts with Palantir to build the national coronavirus tracking database.
HHS has already shared data with ICE that has led to arrests via Palantir database nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/l…
A great statement from @miyafolick.
It’s not too late to acknowledge Amazon’s contributions to racist and unjust systems, and it’s not too late to take a stand. Check out our actions & demands at NoMusicForICE.com - we invite you join us!
Amazon powers ICE. Amazon partners with the cops. Tell #AntiBlackAmazon to cut all ties with law enforcement & ICE p2a.co/F2vOz9t
.@Amazon’s corporate partnerships with police means they have blood on their handsets. Donating a fraction of their worth means nothing if they don’t stop selling racist tech
Tell @Amazon—cut ALL ties police and ICE: p2a.co/F2vOz9t

✊✊✊
We’re standing with @NYCAmazonians at the fulfillment center in Woodside, Queens telling @Amazon they can’t claim #BlackLivesMatter while selling tech to police, exploiting and surveilling their workers, and forcing them to work in deadly conditions.

Black @amazon workers asked for a day off for #Juneteenth.
What did they get?
Fried chicken and waffles.

We're huge supporters of the musician union movements at @UMAW_ in the US, @WeAreTheMU in the UK, and the organizing work of @NoMusicForICE and others worldwide.
It's going to take hard work, but if artists join together everything could improve, and fast.

THREAD
@Amazon, stop performative #BlackLivesMatter support. Immediately end your police surveillance contracts with 1,360 police departments - including 30 added since the murder of George Floyd (one only 9 miles away from Minneapolis) #AntiBlackAmazon

Calling on @AWAL to honor artists’ takedown requests. Let artists have control over who profits off their music! @sad13 put it best:
Amazon is ICE money
It’s police money
It’s military money
It’s blood money
#NoMusicForICE
We want to take our music off of Amazon in solidarity with @NoMusicForICE but despite our requests @AWAL has refused to take our music down from Amazon. Wtf @AWAL?? if you truly stand with Black Lives Matter you will pull all of your artists from amazon.
Jay Carney’s formal job title might be SVP at Amazon, but let’s be real, he’s a fucking cop who smears black organizers and sells Amazon tech to law enforcement
