Weekend thoughts:
-Lawrence is playing his way into Hobey conversations
-Villeneuve is getting more comfortable each game, becoming the next great puck moving D
-Love the resilience in this group, they never feel truly “out” of a game
BIG series next weekend
Weekend thoughts:
-Barone should be playing every game and more minutes
-Malhotra was VERY impressive in the Agganis game, looking forward to seeing him continue to develop
-Addtl shuffling of the lines could help unlock some more offense imo (11 & 27 should be together)
Weekend thoughts:
-Celebrini and Wang looked incredible in both zones
-Tynan Lawrence is very clearly the best forward on the team rn
-Yegorov has started to round back into form
-PP remains abysmal, especially the 5 F unit
she says baby it's 4 am in boston i must be reading the recap of that 4-0 win over Alaska

IT'S HERE!
Men's and Women's portal spreadsheets are now both up and running!
I don't expect the Men's portal to get busy for a few weeks yet but I think the Women's side of things will start to pick up this week 👀
Want to track all of the comings and goings within the Division I NCAA transfer portal this spring?
APX Hockey reporter Sydney Wolf has her annual portal trackers up and running and names are starting to appear 👀

Took the last 48 hours to reflect on my time with the @BOShockeyblog.
Over the past two years, my love for sports journalism has only grown. I've connected with so many people that I look up to in the industry. Thank you to everyone who's supported me.
This is just the start.
Every year @BOShockeyblog exponentially grows in its coverage of the men’s AND women’s teams. It’s easy to forget these are students juggling a full course load on top of traveling for games and still putting out tremendous journalistic work. PLEASE always support this group
Shoutout to the entire @BOShockeyblog this season. They gave up weekends and traveled all over to give us honest and detailed reporting. They didn’t sugar coat anything.
Thank you to the entire team, and to the ones moving on, the best of luck in your careers.

Fitting end to an overall disappointing season. Will have to see how the roster shakes out but definitely feel there were too many returners that did not take the next step. Hoping that gets fixed next season as there is some real promising young talent to build around

More info on why Sacha Boisvert was scratched vs Vermont via @MikeMcMahonCHN.
“According to team sources, Boisvert was late to a team workout earlier in the week. It was not his first infraction, and he was ultimately scratched…”

Is it impossible to praise a former players character and school pride without degrading and hating on another’s? The narrative on here tossed at a 19 year old student is embarrassing, regardless of how personally disappointed you feel his play has been this season.
2 of the key areas where coaching can make a difference is limiting turnovers and offensive rebounds, When 3s arent falling, you have to make sure to not shoot yourself in the foot. BU, and the coaching staff, failed to do that, again. A regime change is desperately needed.
Joe Jones has also set the program record for career losses by 26 losses! In the same time span (15 years) as previous program holder (Dennis Wolff), he has a poorer winning percentage and fewer regular season and conference tournament wins and 0 NCAA tournament appearances!

The shootout sucks.
Credit to NU for learning not to play Stacy's Mom right before BU rips their heart out. #ExperientialLearning
