also you kill smasher in an isolated room deep inside arasaka HQ, the truth of what happened there is going to he word of mouth at best. Smasher was rarely ever seen by civilians anyway, imo arasaka will probably just let people assume he's still alive

and even if people did know, who cares! night city is more than gang warfare and powerscaling. Smasher is a ghost story for mercenaries sure, but it's not like he has any power. killing him changes nothing except for a single line on arasaka's payroll

TLOU2 isn't even in my top 50 but i genuinely think this reoccurring "critique" is just so juvenile. it's far more interesting than part 1 imo both are good, but TLOU 1 is hard carried by it's finale imo (which Gamers are also too dumb to understand for the record)

Just finished Edgerunners 2. Had zero idea it took place AFTER Cyberpunk 2077. There's next to no references to anything V. Literally no impact on Night City is felt. Kinda bizarre.

cyberpunk 2077 is an incredibly personal narrative, everything doesn't have to be saving the world. no one person is going to make it a better place to live. even becoming a "Legend of Night City" amounts to nothing but a cocktail being named after you in some fuck-off nightclub

you're not even the only person to storm arasaka that shows up in that game! you leave an impact on several people throughout the story, and they'll remember V forever. but none of them are writing the history books, and that's fine!

the fact that you have to choose between quick hacks and the sandevestan is so dumb because the choice is so obvious, lots of variety in the gameplay and how you choose to approach situations vs slow down time for 8 seconds once every now and then.
