Coconut Vault turns one today! 🥥🎂 Thanks to everyone who’s been part of our journey. It’s our birthday, but the gift is for you 💚 Meet Coconut Vault Lite — a new way to use Coconut Vault ⚡️ A signing-only edition that lets you load your seed when needed, sign transactions offline, and delete wallet data when your session ends. Choose Coconut Vault for secure storage mode and inheritance wallets. Choose Coconut Vault Lite if you only need offline signing. Pick the version that fits how you use your wallet. We’ll keep creating more options until everyone can safely hold their own bitcoin 🥥🛠️ ------ Q. Which features are left out of Lite? Lite excludes secure storage mode, which keeps your seed on the device between sessions, and inheritance wallets. It supports QR-based offline signing for standard single-sig and multisig wallets. Q. Do existing Vault users need to purchase Lite separately? No additional purchase is needed to use signing-only mode. Coconut Vault already includes both signing-only mode and secure storage mode. Q. Do I need to load my seed again next time? Yes. Wallet data is deleted when the session ends, so you’ll need to load your seed again the next time you use the app. Keep your recovery seed and any passphrase you use backed up safely and separately from the app. Q. Does Lite also work exclusively offline? Yes. It exchanges transaction data via QR codes and signs offline. If it detects a network connection, it blocks app use and clears its memory. Q. Can I use it with other wallet apps? Yes. In addition to Coconut Wallet, it works with watch-only wallets in Sparrow, BlueWallet, and Nunchuk.

⚠️Coconut Wallet’s default server runs on Fulcrum 2.1.4. It is not affected by the reported Electrum server issue, so you can continue using it with peace of mind🛡️ With Fulcrum, standard wallet requests are 4–6 times faster, with speedups of up to 10 times for wallets with extensive transaction histories. If you use Coconut Wallet with your own Electrum server, please make sure your server is up to date.

🇮🇳 Coconut is heading to India! At Bitmela, a Bitcoin conference in India, our team member Maru (@coconut_maru) will be hosting a hands-on self-custody workshop for local attendees. With just a smartphone, participants will create their own Bitcoin wallet using Coconut Wallet, receive and send real bitcoin, and even recover their wallet using their mnemonic words. We hope this will be the first step into self-custody for many new Bitcoiners in India. 🥥
