According to them, Peter Obi came a distant third in the last election. But since that election, you would think the man won and everybody else is in opposition, judging by how much time they spend talking about him.
APC dey discuss Obi.
ADC dey discuss Obi.
AAC self no gree am rest.
Even parties wey Nigerians never hear their names dey discuss Obi.
For a man wey una say come distant third, una don make am the centre of una political campaigns, radio interviews and television appearances. Every recent APC campaign, na Obi dem dey talk about instead of telling Nigerians their achievements.
At this point eh, na only INEC no recognise Obi as president, because for all una minds, na Obi dey Aso Rock. 😂

I think Nigeria owes all those who were executed by firing squad for armed robbery in the 70s, 80s and 90s a public apology and should beg their spirits for forgiveness.
Because if the spirits of those guys can see the level of stealing our politicians have normalised in this country today, eh, e reach for their spirits to hold Nigeria back. 😂

Atiku and his ADC coalooters thought they had everything figured out. They were counting on Peter Obi’s calm nature to pressure him into accepting the VP position, while they inherited the Obidient movement and its massive political energy.
Their calculation failed to account for one stubborn group: the Obidient Ninjas and their “#PeterObiorNothing” campaign.
Obi waka comot, and suddenly everybody had to find their own crowd. 😂
All that noise about political structures, where the structures dey now? Aregbesola and his mighty South-West structure, where una dey? Even Atiku’s campaign council no carry Aregbesola along.

Even though Nigerians didn’t fall for the religious sentiments that APC and Tinubu tried to stir up with that special Kaaba-kissing stunt in Saudi Arabia, there’s something nobody seems to be talking about.
How much of our country’s wealth did this man and his APC thieves have to pay the Saudis to get that special treatment? Just asking o. 🤔
And to ordinary Muslims, the question I want you to ask yourselves is this: If everyone is equal in the eyes of allah, and if the most noble in the eyes of allah is the most righteous among us, as stated in quran 49:13, why is Saudi Arabia arranging special treatment for certain people to enter the Kaaba? Especially someone like Tinubu. Can anyone tell me one noble thing Tinubu has done? 🕋

This is just like Tinubu blaming Buhari for what the APC did. Madam, I’m glad Brits are not like Nigerians. Nobody takes you seriously at all.
“The Conservatives got immigration wrong,” and “I wasn’t in the Cabinet at the time,” she says with a straight face, as though she wasn’t part of the government that got it wrong.
Weren’t you a minister from 2019 to 2024 and a Cabinet member from 2022 to 2024? How can you stand in that room and lie with a straight face that you weren’t in the Cabinet?
The person who called you a “Nigerian scammer” must be laughing because the way you distance yourself from your own government’s failures reminds me of Nigerian politicians who think the public has no memory.
Shabana has made a serious mistake surrendering to Labour MPs. So I’m putting people on notice - when we get into government we will scrap this weak policy.
Immigration is too high. Labour are making a bad situation much, much worse.
The Conservative Party is under new management. I accept this problem started under a previous Conservative govt. Many of those in that Cabinet have gone to Reform where they belong.
And I’ve got a proper plan to fix it👇

I know this is a long read, but I promise you, if you read it to the end, you’ll understand how deeply religion and colonialism have messed with our identity as Africans.
Africans will celebrate saints (Oyibo ancestors) and people who have received the title of knight, but will vilify our own forefathers and ancestors. They will vilify our traditional titles but proudly celebrate being called knights, even though knighthood has its roots in warriors who fought wars and defended Oyibo lands. Many of these knights were also involved in invasions and the looting of Africa and other indigenous lands.
And do you know what makes this whole thing even more ridiculous? Knighthood did not even start as a religious title. It was a military institution associated with warriors who fought for kings and defended kingdoms. The Europeans later polished it, gave it religious significance, and Christianity embraced it. Today, Africans are proudly receiving the same title as a mark of religious honour.
And let us not pretend that these knights were only defending their own lands. Knights participated in wars of conquest, invaded other people’s territories, seized lands and helped kings expand their kingdoms. Much of medieval Europe’s political landscape was shaped by these wars and conquests. The Norman conquest of England, for example, involved knights who helped conquer the land, after which the conquerors confiscated estates and redistributed them to their own people.
So these knights were not just defending Oyibo lands. They were also taking other people’s lands. Yet today, the institutions associated with them have been polished, given honourable meanings and, in some cases, turned into religious titles.
Even Frederick Lugard, who played a major role in the British colonisation of Nigeria, was knighted.
But somehow, our own ancestors and traditional institutions are the evil ones. What kind of nonsense is this?
They call our warriors and forefathers barbaric and evil, yet celebrate and take titles associated with people who committed atrocities worse than anything our ancestors could ever have imagined.
Now, let me bring this home.
What the title of knight is to Europeans is what the Ozo title is to the Igbo people. Both are traditional institutions associated with honour, status and recognition within their respective societies. In fact, I would argue that the Ozo institution is even better because of the moral obligations traditionally placed on anyone who takes the title.
In Igboland, we have the Ozo title. Traditionally, when you take the Ozo title, you are bound by moral obligations. You are forbidden from telling lies, cheating, committing evil or engaging in certain acts considered morally unacceptable. You are expected to uphold truth, justice and good conduct.
An Ozo titleholder is expected to respect human life and must not shed innocent blood. Even when defending his people or ancestral land, he is still bound by moral obligations. Defending your land does not suddenly give you permission to lie, cheat or commit atrocities against innocent people.
Now compare that with the history of European knighthood, where warriors were rewarded with land, titles and honour for their military services, including participating in wars of conquest.
We had this kind of institution before the Oyibo man came. So why the fuck did we throw our own away and start celebrating knighthood?
Why didn’t we polish our own Ozo institution, preserve it, improve it and give it the same honour that Europeans gave their own institutions? Why did we allow people whose ancestors committed atrocities against ours to convince us that our ancestors were evil while theirs deserved honour?
The Europeans did not throw away their history because their ancestors committed atrocities. They polished their institutions, reformed them, gave them religious significance and continued celebrating them. But they came to Africa, demonised our own institutions, and we foolishly accepted their judgement.
Today, an African will proudly call himself a knight of the Catholic Church but will look down on an Ozo titleholder as a pagan or someone practising something evil.
How does that even make sense?
They celebrate All Saints’ Day, even though the Catholic Church has still not granted cyprian michael iwene tansi sainthood. The man was beatified in 1998 and has remained there. Meanwhile, the new “yahoo boy saint”, carlo acutis, who died in 2006, was canonised in 2025.
And some Africans will celebrate these Oyibo saints with their full chests while describing their own ancestors as demons.
You see why I keep talking about religion and its effect on identity development? We have generations of Africans who have been conditioned to despise their own history, ancestral institutions and cultural identity while treating those of Europeans as superior.
And this madness goes beyond religion.
Look at the map of Africa. Look at the countries we call our own. Look at the names we answer and the boundaries separating us.
That map did not fall from heaven. Much of it was created through colonial conquest, European territorial competition and divide-and-rule policies. European powers divided African territories among themselves, separated people who shared ancestry, language and culture, and joined different ethnic nationalities together under colonial administrations to serve their own political and economic interests.
Divide and rule was one of the methods they used to control us. They exploited ethnic differences, empowered certain groups and traditional rulers over others, and organised our societies in ways that made colonial administration easier.
And when the colonisers eventually left, what did we do? We kept their map, their boundaries, their country names and much of the political structure they imposed on us.
Decades after independence, we are still defending these arrangements as though our ancestors sat down and agreed to them.
How the fuck do you want us to continue with that and expect to build a great continent?
How the fuck can we continue using a map created under colonial rule, shaped by divide-and-rule politics and designed to serve the interests of our invaders, decades after those invaders have left?
What exactly are we preserving? Our ancestral identities or the political arrangements imposed by those who conquered our ancestors?
Why should the boundaries drawn by Europeans to serve their colonial interests remain the boundaries that determine how Africans live, identify themselves and govern their ancestral lands today?
And some people will tell you that we cannot change the map of Africa because it will create too many countries. Says who? Who made the rule that Africa must remain divided into the same countries the colonial powers left behind?
When Africans are ready to build a great continent, we must start by going back to our history. We must scrap the colonial map, return to our original maps, ancestral lands and boundaries, and create countries along our ethnic lines.
And if that means Africa will have over 1,000 countries, so fucking what? Whose business is it? Why should the number of countries we have be determined by arrangements made by people who invaded and colonised us?
If Africans decide to create 1,000 or more countries based on our indigenous identities and ancestral territories, that is nobody’s fucking business. We do not need to continue living within colonial boundaries just because Europeans decided that those boundaries should exist.
Our ancestors had their own identities, territories, political systems, traditional institutions and ways of organising their societies before the Oyibo man came. Why must we continue pretending that our political history started when Europeans arrived with their maps?
We need to go back to our indigenous identities, our ancestral lands, our traditional institutions and the ways our societies were organised before colonialism. We can examine what worked, reform what needs reforming and build from our own history instead of continuing to live according to arrangements imposed on us.
And before anyone starts telling me that our ancestors were not perfect, who the fuck said they were? Were European ancestors perfect? Did that stop Europeans from preserving their history and celebrating their institutions?
Why must Africans abandon their own history because their ancestors did something wrong, while Europeans are allowed to polish theirs and turn it into something honourable?
We cannot keep building our future on an identity defined for us by people who conquered our ancestors. We cannot keep answering names they gave us, accepting boundaries they imposed on us, and treating their institutions as superior to ours while expecting to recover our identity.
And I maintain my position that anything other than going back to our history, recovering our indigenous identities and fundamentally changing these colonial arrangements is not going to work.
We cannot continue with a political map inherited from colonial rule, shaped by colonial interests and used to govern our ancestors, and pretend that the foundations of our problems have nothing to do with it.
How can we claim to have freed ourselves from colonialism when we are still living within political boundaries imposed during colonialism and defending them as though they are sacred?
When Africans are genuinely ready to take their identity and future seriously, we will start by questioning everything we inherited from colonialism, including the names of our countries, the borders separating us and the political arrangements that continue to define our existence.
We must go back to our history, recover our ancestral identities, redraw our own boundaries and decide for ourselves how we want to live. Even if that means having over 1,000 independent countries across Africa, so be it.
We cannot continue allowing people who invaded our ancestral lands to determine how their descendants should live, long after those invaders have left.
Anything other than this is a waste of precious time.

Because how is telling northerners that Peter Obi praised buhari supposed to be a bad campaign for Obi?

jesus, in several verses of the storybook called the Bible, clearly distinguishes himself from god. I wonder where Christians manufactured the idea that jesus is god when even their own book says otherwise.
Luke 18:18–19 is one of those examples.
Luke 18:18: “And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
Luke 18:19: “And jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, god.”
And that is not all o.
John 17:3: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true god, and jesus christ, whom thou hast sent.”
John 20:17: “jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my god, and your god.”
So jesus has a god, calls someone else the only true god, and repeatedly distinguishes himself from that god, yet Christians somehow concluded that jesus is god himself. 😭
Christians, please, can you people tell me where you got the idea that jesus is god?
Now I am beginning to understand what the writer of Romans saw that made him write in Romans 1:22–23:
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible god into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.”
You people should explain how worshipping a man who repeatedly refers to someone else as his god is any different from the very idolatry your own Bible condemns. 😭

I have been following the Serbian protests since they started, and I am deeply disappointed in Nigerian youths.
If you have been following those protests yourself, you will know what happened in Serbia yesterday. These young people have practically overthrown their government through an election after almost two years of protests.
And do you know what started the protests? Just 16 people died when a railway station canopy collapsed. In Nigeria, many people would have dismissed it as an accident, moved on with their lives and forgotten about it.
The standard of living in Serbia is far better than in Nigeria. In fact, many Nigerians would rush to their religious houses to give testimonies if they got a Serbian visa today.
Yet these Serbian youths, mostly Gen Z, refused to accept what was happening in their country. They protested for almost two years, and when protests alone weren’t enough to remove the government, they took their struggle to the ballot box, backed a student-led political movement and won power.
Imagine that! A movement that started because just 16 people died has now brought down a ruling party that dominated Serbian politics for over 10 years.
The atrocities committed by Tinubu’s APC during #EndSARS should have nailed their political coffin. If that had happened in any sane country, the #EndSARS protests would have continued until the government either left office or faced the people in the 2023 elections.
But what happened in Nigeria? After hundreds of people were killed during #EndSARS and the violence that followed, we still allowed that same APC to rig its way back into power. Allowing Tinubu to take power after everything that happened was an insult to the memory of those who lost their lives.
Over 250 people died during #EndSARS, and saying 250 is just me being generous. You and I know that the actual number is much higher. These people were kïļļèd by a government that was supposed to protect them.
Today, APC’s govt has the guts to do what it does because they see us as gutless people who will make noise for a few days and move on. We made a terrible mistake allowing what happened in 2023. Are we going to allow it again in 2027?
What makes this even more disappointing is the ongoing #FreeRilwanNow incident. The arrest of Rilwan Olawale should have been enough to spark another nationwide protest demanding answers, accountability, an end to the intimidation of citizens and an end to APC’s government.
Sometimes, I honestly think Nigerians have become so comfortable with oppression that we are simply waiting for the government to pick us off one by one, like point-and-kill.
It is not by shouting #FreeRilwanNow. The question you should be asking yourself is this: If they refuse to release Rilwan, what are you going to do? If dem arrest another person join, wetin you go do? How many more people must be arrested, intimidated or kïllêd before Nigerians decide that enough is enough?
The Serbian youths have shown what sustained resistance, organisation and political determination can achieve. They protested, refused to surrender and eventually translated their anger into electoral victory.
Meanwhile, six years after #EndSARS, we are still shouting, “We will never forget,” while the same party remains in power.
Nigerians, who do us this thing? 😢🤦🏽♂️

Instead of teaching men how to deal with a nagging wife without becoming nagging husbands themselves, teaching women how to stop nagging their husbands, or teaching couples how to avoid behaviours that make their spouses nag in the first place, resolve their differences and live together in peace and harmony, Proverbs 21:19 says, “Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.”
Rather than teaching couples how to communicate, manage disagreements, examine their own behaviour and build healthier marriages, it says it’s better that a man live in a desert than with a nagging wife. Imagine calling this wisdom! Written by the so-called wisest man who ever lived. Mtcheeew!
And why is the wife the problem? Don’t husbands nag? Can’t husbands be quarrelsome, difficult and make their wives’ lives miserable?
