We didn’t know but the technician who took the scan said she had a spot on her pancreas that should be rescanned. We only found out about this operable dime sized spot 4 years later when her pain finally led to a new scan. By then the tumor had grown to the size of a tennis ball and wasn’t operable any longer. She died 8 months later. The “free” health care system killed her.
