❌ Pakistan-linked propaganda accounts are circulating a fake claim that an Indian Army soldier was shot in the head by an unknown gunman in Ladakh.
✅ The claim is false. No such incident has taken place. The circulated image appears to show Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel and does not establish the claimed shooting.

Rezang La : The Eternal Saga of Valour 🇮🇳
“And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds…”
— Horatius, The Captain of the Gate
On 18 November 1962, the bravehearts of Rezang La stood firm against overwhelming odds, fighting to the last man and last round in defence of the Nation. Their extraordinary courage and sacrifice etched one of the most enduring chapters of valour in India’s military history.
On the 64th Rezang La Day, we honour these immortal heroes whose indomitable spirit and supreme sacrifice continue to inspire generations. Their legacy lives on; their valour will never be forgotten.

Thanks to the Indian Army for the 2-day Mega Medical Speciality Camp organised by the Northern Command for local people at far-flung #Basantgarh, near Ramnagar in district #Udhampur.
This is a hilly region with poor accessibility and very inadequate basic healthcare facility. A camp of this nature and such magnitude came as a blessing for the local people, who are overwhelmed with reverence and admiration for the Indian Army which has otherwise also been their constant companion and custodian in times of terror and militancy.
Around 1,000 patients were examined on the first day, while another 1,000-1,500 patients examined on the second day, taking the projected total for the two-day camp to approximately 2,000-2,500 patients. Nearly 50 per cent of the cases were related to ophthalmology, with cataract accounting for a substantial proportion of these cases.
The camp's experience could help identify the disorders most frequently encountered in the region, particularly those that can be prevented through timely diagnosis, treatment and awareness.

🚨 Trace the Truth
❌ A Pakistan-linked propaganda account is falsely claiming that the Indian Army deliberately set fire to the homes of innocent Kashmiri civilians in Poonch district, portraying the incident as a human rights violation.
✅ FACT: A massive midnight fire broke out in Loran village of Poonch district during the intervening night of 12–13 October 2026, reportedly gutting three residential houses and damaging several shops.
✅ The Indian Army reportedly rushed to assist affected residents following the fire. The allegation that Army personnel deliberately burned civilian homes is contrary to the assistance provided to douse the fire.
