There's something really cool when these moments get captured on regular people's smart phones. Feels like you're right there.

Block of the calendar year by Amen Thompson. What a defensive talent. The Thompson twins are both so special.

Until last night, the last time Camden beat North in football was 2012. Huge win in this recently lopsided neighborhood rivalry. @OJW_Scouting @PrepRedzoneMN @Marcus_R_Fuller @JimPaulsen

How in the world did they capture the MSU fan with the hat so perfectly in focus, then go back to the TD? Absolute cinema

I find the Dillingham journey really interesting and a bit of a cautionary tale for modern American basketball prospects. He had a good 6 months at Kentucky, but his high school transfer choices potentially really held him back/wasted his time.

My tweet yesterday about Rob Dillingham has over 400,000 views. Hundreds of comments. And a phone full of messages from people around the NBA. My article sparked conversations I never expected, with everyone from parents of NBA players and grassroots scouts to NBA executives, scouts and player development coaches reaching out. I wanted to share their perspectives on what possibly went wrong. Free article 🔽🔽 open.substack.com/pub/nbabig…

I feel like every kid in this family is going to start off semi-underrated then be eventual 4-5 stars once they prove they have 1. high-level shooting ability 2. good size 3. bball IQ and are pieces that every single D1 team could utilize Maybe a few will also not go to Duke?

Congrats to Joe Hyser on a legendary coaching run at Mpls South, as he recently stepped down after 29 years leading the program. Leading a squad constantly affected by transfers leaving, he coached them to state in '24 and '26. 2024 COTY article: startribune.com/joe-hyser-mi…

I found 175 college football field storms since 2019. No team had a sadder storm field than Michigan (-27.5) last night and Michigan holds two of the three saddest field storms. (Will continue to chart more field storms in prior years. This is my new quest)

$7.25/hr to run social media for the Timberwolves in 2011. Bachelor’s degree required. It didn’t make any sense (entire league paid that position min. wage). Worked nights at a liquor store and later @NorthstarHoops.

Fortunately for others, a few years later (after I left) they started paying people much more. I don’t know how I feel about that whole time… I met so many great people and had some of the best memories of my entire life, but the pay was so egregiously bad for no reason.
