Two lesser known Ultimate tips out of the goodness of my heart: 1. Up smashing out of shield with left stick up + grab guarantees that you can’t accidentally charge and lose valuable frames to punish. If you’ve ever wondered why Tweek’s usmashes oos look so damn crispy it’s cause I taught him that lmao 2. Air dodging with grab instead of shield cuts out the frames where your character jolts in the opposite direction before moving. This makes your wavedashes and wavelands considerably faster. When I saw Proto’s Lucina getting so much value out of wavedash, I tried to replicate it and couldn’t figure out why it looked totally different until I learned this. Don’t quote me on it but it would stand to reason that doing a Z/grab button air dodge also makes it so it won’t kill you earlier when you get sent super far offstage
