This was a great show and I’m glad that Jim & Nick got to join us to talk about our dearly departed friend Mark Wolf’s tribute show this weekend as well as some great early IWAMS stories
New @BTSheetsPod with @nickmaniwa and @jfannin73 covering 1997! The USWA folds, first IWAMS King of the Death Matches tournament, AJW files bankruptcy, an insane Paul Heyman quote in the Torch, Jeff Jarrett's WWF return/shoot promo on Raw, and lots more. redcircle.com/shows/f0ecb959…

Have you ever seen a one-trick pony in the field, so happy and free? If you've ever seen a one-trick pony, then you've seen me Have you ever seen a one-legged dog making its way down the street? If you've ever seen a one-legged dog, then you've seen me Then you've seen me I come and stand at every door Then you've seen me I always leave with less than I had before Then you've seen me Bet I can make you smile when the blood, it hits the floor Tell me, friend, can you ask for anything more? Tell me can you ask for anything more?

I watched this match yesterday and was enthralled. Someone pointed out how the gal with the white Hard Rock Cafe sweatshirt reacted after the middle finger. I noticed her several times throughout the match reacting like she was watching a duel. She let out a passionate “NO” when Austin hit the Stunner. I wish we had more like her today.

In my opinion this is the greatest match of all time. The build was based on a year of stories and it's the most hate filled match I've ever seen with the best finish ever.

How does a promoter make money or break even on a show when you book a lot of talent with 4 figure rates, plus flight and hotel? Like obv there are exceptions with larger indie companies but I don’t see how that is financially advantageous when running a mid-size or local indie show?

Alright, so brother and his lady got engaged a month or so ago. Good for him, right? Well today he posted a pic with 3 guys and the caption was “practice.” They are wearing matching colors so I assumed he started a band. Upon closer inspection, they all have guns.

Yeah, this is my favorite Steamboat vs Flair match so far. Great pace, a hot crowd, & a tremendous post match angle (I gotta watch Funk vs Flair now)
