Lamppost Poppies Go Up Freya and Matt were out late last night, putting up the first 40 Oakwood Ward Remembrance Poppies, commemorating our servicemen and women, our veterans, their families, and all those who gave their tomorrow for our today. Over 100 will go up across our neighbourhood, and a sprayed poppy will be painted on the banking of Oakwood Park, opposite The Church on Oakwood. More poppies will go up over the weekend and early next week, as part of this fitting tribute. Well done to these guys
