There’s no one like Ernie Johnson in the industry, that can do what he does and impact so many lives like myself.
It’s tough to hear this news, looking up to him throughout my career as many others did, but THANK YOU for everything 🙏🏾

He then brought me and my work back up on The Steam Room with Charles Barkley (again, very blessed).

I had the opportunity to reconnect with him at Opening Night of the 2023-24 NBA Season as a Lift Every Voice Fellow (peep my X banner).
Again, another awesome convo where he breathed life into me before I had the biggest interview of my life up to that point.

Fast forward about 30 minutes as Ryan and I are leaving, still raving about meeting Ernie and we see him again! He talked to us for 15 more minutes.

Introduced ourselves and he was the exact same kind, down-to-earth and personable human being we’ve seen on TV.

I have a cool story about meeting @TurnerSportsEJ for the first time.
I was a Production Intern at TNT in Summer 2022, assisting primarily with the MLB on TBS and NBA-TV shows.
MLB on TBS, which Ernie hosted when the NBA in season, ran late at night, sometimes till 1am.

I was at a bar with a bunch of Wisconsin fans next to a house that I just bought with zero furniture. I have left the bar to sulk in my own misery in a house with zero furniture. I need to be alone right now.

Rocky began as a script about one man's struggle, but five decades later, it has become a global symbol of perseverance that transcends borders. As we celebrate America 250, people still show up to run those same steps Rocky ran in 1976, all 72 of them.
