It took me way too long to post these, but I have a few sets on hand for sale and can get more. These are made in the famed Khyber Pass Darra Arms market. The sets comes with the fore grip and the gas tube cover and a pistol grip. The carved is $350.00 plus $15.00 for shipping and the plain wood is $250.00 per set plus $15.00 shipping. Barrel grouping after the Indi burn down, death and subsequent revival of the black 13.7 Sabre, today marks 5800 rounds through the gun for transparency sake today turned into a range day so the bore was warm, and the long target is 91 yards instead of 100.
Basic PSA lower here because I was asked if it runs on more than the Sabre lower. (It does.)
However the gun now only likes certain ammo unsurpressed, full power 5.56 & high end .223 work fine, however it still eats everything with the can on it which I don’t shoot without a can often anyway but I still want to note it.
To be clear I don’t fault the design for this as the machine gun burn down was going to break something and would break anything else that underwent the abuse.
This was also done with the new match grade two stage trigger PSA has released as competition to the Larue triggers, and it’s *chefs kiss*
All were five round groups.
Been a few months since I’ve updated y’all on the pair of Sabre rifles from @palmettoarmory I’ve been torturing.
Pictured below is the BCG from the green one several months after I dunked it in the creek nearby one of the ranges I use.
Months of rust built up on the inside of the gun itself, the neglect has been by design in order to induce a failure which neither rifle has given me one yet, even this one with all of its internals bright orange with rust.
As of this post the green rifle has 3500 rounds through it, the black rifle has 4000.
7500 rounds across two rifles and neither have given me a malfunction.
As each approach 5k I’ll be checking the barrels to see if either need to be swapped.
Many of you will see the black 13.7 in Indiana in October, I will be encouraging everyone to shoot it as much as they want.
