Sometimes a player needs to transfer but players who transfer several times might think they can leave problems behind but we are finding out. There are players who have been good at current stop but previous behavior at other stops is going to hurt their stock.
Very well done by him. He made a good move to feed her ego a little bit as well with the comment about needing her to do more games. Coaches and players do this from time to time. That comment made her night. I wonder if it was his idea or PR told him to do something like it.
I don’t think anyone feels sorry for that in this era. There was reason to before NIL and the portal but with all this money involved players have to produce or be cut.
I’m going to give free advice to him. Enter the portal and go somewhere with a good QB coach. He needs another year and Texas is not a good fit for him. They will be able to upgrade to someone who better fits them as well.
Several NFL executives expressed skepticism this week that some, if not a majority, of the projected top QBs will even enter the 2027 NFL Draft. That includes Arch Manning, whom NFL scouts have seen less of since Texas closed practice.

Maybe he is happy there. Maybe he did look around and still wanted to stay. Can you prove he didn’t already look around? Money can’t always buy happiness. If he thinks staying is best for him then that is all the matters. Just congratulate him and move on. It is his life.
Whoever is representing Jesse Legree may have cost this young man A LOT of money.
A true freshman leading the nation with 1,040 receiving yards has tremendous market value. At minimum, explore your options and understand your worth before committing.
Loyalty is great, but potentially passing up generational money without testing your value is bad business.

I think Texas is wishing for this more like it. They want him to declare so they can get better results for far less money.
NFL Execs want Arch Manning NOW, and see him as a for-sure first-round talent🐂
When asked if they want Arch to stay another year or declare this offseason, an exec told @CodyCarpentier:
“The sooner the better. I want those traits in my building, today.”

It is no shock. Their owners and GM are cheap as crap. They cut corners just to save money.
Agreed. Why even say this if you don’t have inside info? NFL Network and ESPN have way too many talking heads who got no business being on there.
Manning has talent but he was vastly overrated by media and I wonder if pressure has hurt him. He is one of worst QBs for money-ball because he is way overpaid. Texas would benefit from benching him and letting him go to acquire a QB who gives more bang for buck and improve OL.
And QB is suppose to be most accurate. Players need to stop putting any stock in those HS ratings. The people doing them clearly have no clue. I knew coaches who said Arch was really more of a 3 star but the last name got him rated high.
Agreed. This behavior by Dak is embarrassing. He needs to have thicker skin than that.
So a stadium worker says “embarrassing” while Dak Prescott walks through the tunnel, and Dak stares the man down like he’s trying to intimidate him. Then tells somebody to get him out of there. Over THAT?
If that man makes $14 an hour, you’re making the equivalent of $3.53 MILLION a game based on your contract average—and you can’t handle somebody saying “embarrassing”?
Two interceptions, a failed two-point conversion, and, from what I saw, a wide-open man missed in the back of the end zone. WHERE’S THE LIE DETECTED?
“Get him out of here” sounds to me like you want the man fired. For keeping it real? They should give that man a damn raise! Too many athletes surround themselves with yes-men, then get mad when somebody tells them something they don’t want to hear.
For those who have an issue with what she is doing my message is buy a team and run it better. Whether it is good or bad for the team is irrelevant. She signs the paychecks and so it is her right as the owner. If the coaches don’t like it then go coach elsewhere.
It is pretty bad. Dylan doesn’t like school so he wants to come out. He might find himself going a lot lower than his agent and he thinks though. Someone will draft him but it won’t be where he expected entering the season.
South Carolina's Shane Beamer was asked about Dylan Stewart's status in his Sunday teleconference: "No update. I’ve met with Dylan pretty much every day last week. Visited with Dylan today. We’ll keep those conversations between us, but no update."

It would crush them. I could see many FCS football programs go under or drop down because of it.
Make sure to explain your motivations as well. You benefit from not capping what agents can charge. You also benefit from being able to freely sue. Don’t pretend they are just in it for themselves when agents and lawyers are fighting it because it’s not good for them.
Ted Cruz, Cody Campbell, President Trump, Randy Levine, Nick Saban, Deion Sanders, Charlie Baker, and Maria Cantwell can’t be happy that the Protect College Sports Act, which passed easily in the Senate, may never become law.
I’ll try my best at concisely explaining each of their motivations in tomorrow’s #NIL newsletter.
Bingo. NFLPA can’t do that. They screw over their players. It caps agent pay but it should because of so many crooked ones. I do think states need to enforce their own laws though. There needs to be laws on NIL agents and strict enforcement to stop the corruption.

Yes, it is a cap, one that will go up 250% from this year.
Never seen a union accomplish that.
