…you might not see race, they do.
in july, the public protector found that the DA deliberately prioritised white areas over black communities in terms of service delivery.
Guys we no longer vote based on race, we need services from those we vote for. If they don’t deliver we vote them out and vote someone else in.

"Afriforum (which represents maybe) 1.5% of South Africans held extensive discussions with the US." Who gave you that mandate. It is this self importance and belief that a splinter uncivil society group can determine the course of the country that generates such antagonism.
AfriForum holds @PresidencyZA @CyrilRamaphosa and other ANC leaders in government directly responsible for South Africa’s removal from AGOA and the job losses that will result.
According to @afriforum, President Ramaphosa and his government’s foreign policy, as well as his announcement on 23 January 2025 that he had signed the Expropriation Act into law, directly prompted President Donald Trump’s announcement just ten days later, on 2 February, that the US would take action against South Africa. AGOA sets explicit requirements for the protection of private property rights and stipulates that beneficiary countries may not undermine US national security or foreign policy interests.
As early as April 2024, AfriForum sent a letter to President Ramaphosa warning him of the risks that the Expropriation Act, which allows for expropriation without compensation, posed to South Africa’s trade relations. Ramaphosa did not even respond to the letter, and the country is now reaping the bitter fruits of his and other ANC leaders’ reckless policies and actions.
Over the past year, AfriForum, @solidariteit and the Solidarity Movement have put forward comprehensive proposals during discussions with the South African Presidency in an effort to resolve the dispute with the US. Solidarity also held extensive discussions with the US in an attempt to save AGOA. Unfortunately, the Presidency disregarded these efforts, and ordinary South Africans are now paying the price.
Ramaphosa and his colleagues in the ANC leadership have placed their own ideology and party interests above the interests of ordinary South Africans.
