If you have a compelling counterargument, make it. If all you’ve got are personal insults, you’ve already demonstrated the limits of your ability to engage.
As you head into vote, I ask you to consider this…. Most policies take years before we really see their consequences. COVID was different. We got to see how Democrats and Republicans handled the same crisis, almost in real time.
Look at schools. Republican-leaning districts generally reopened sooner, while many Democratic-leaning districts kept kids home longer. And the learning loss that followed was significant.
What’s especially telling is that politics often predicted reopening decisions better than local COVID rates.
We rarely get such a clear look at how political priorities translate into actual policy, and what those decisions cost people.
It's almost 2027, and Democrats are still leaning on a guy who first ran for president in 2008. But please, tell me more about this exciting new generation of leadership.

HR40 doesn't actually pay reparations. It establishes a commission to study and recommend them. After all that talk about urgent justice, the big solution is another taxpayer-funded committee. You couldn't parody Congress any better if you tried.
