Division 5 is a crazy anomaly. Top 4 teams have the smallest enrollments. Hilmar, Escalon, Sutter, and Sonora. Not the case in most other divisions. St. Mary’s and Central Catholic in D2 are the exception.

Highlights of Isaiah Sanchez. The Riptide have a must win matchup against Big Valley Christian this Friday. Winner for sure makes the D7 bracket, probably as #7 seed. Losing team might need some help.

Big games coming up that will affect D7 bracket. Calaveras at Linden will be for the NYDMLL Title and the D7 #1 Seed. Redskins heavy favorites on the road. River Islands at Big Valley is must win for both teams. Golden Sierra & Rio Vista can’t overlook their 4-4 opponents

D7 Results from 10/23. Top 4 stay the same although Section could flip Golden Sierra and Denair for seeding purposes. Mariposa to the #5 Seed to play at #4 GS. River Islands drops to #7 to play at #2 Denair. Rio Vista up to #6 to play at #3 Linden. Loss doesn’t hurt SRC.

Summerville must get to 4 wins. Probable win at Bret Harte next week. Last game of the season is home vs. Linden. Big Valley Christian’s last two games are very tough. Home vs. River Islands who are coming off a 13-14 loss to Linden then on the road at Calaveras.

Ripon goes up the hill and gets its biggest win of the year. 28-21 over Sonora. Now at 3 wins. Needs a W vs Orestimba or Ripon Chr. to get in playoffs. @andrewshaw_qb @NotYoDaddysMLL @ExecProtectU @RHSSuperFan
