Mitchell Berman is an emergency room nurse and southeast Wisconsin’s next Congressman. I saw how deeply rooted in his community he is when we were out knocking doors this week. I’m grateful that we will have his voice, values, and vision in Congress.
Tonight proves that when working people stand together, we can make a difference. As the son of a roofer and a foundry worker, a first-generation college graduate, and ER nurse, I’m honored to stand before you as your next Congressman. I know what it’s like to work hard and wonder whether the people in Washington understand what families like us are going through. Let’s be clear: You can’t delete the stink of Donald Trump. Once it’s on you, it is stuck on you. And JD stinks, man, and he is not gonna be able to tweet his way out of that.
I think JD Vance has proven to be a real liability for this administration and someone that the American people seemingly don’t like or trust.
Yeah, I wish you would have come and campaigned here for my opponent. I might have been able to get a couple of extra points in the election.

During her 3rd Congressional District victory speech Tuesday, @RebeccaforWI got choked up thanking her supporters.
"This is what democracy actually looks like," she said.
Cooke won with 52.4% of the vote, beating incumbent Derrick Van Orden in their rematch.

I know that we are hungry here, hungry for a change that we can feel in our bones, that we can feel in our pocketbooks. And I am on a mission to deliver.
To make our healthcare more affordable.
To keep our family farms running.
To fund our public schools.
To bring down the goddam price of gas.
This is a victory for all of US. For anyone who is struggling to pay your rent or mortgage, drowning in medical debt, worrying if you’ll have to sell the farm. Help is coming.
