I/me/myself/mine women are real and not a feeling

Joined July 2022
One question I have seen is why would anyone who isn't a bigot not accept that trans women are women? Well, a simple answer is there is no reason why anyone would. The people who believe it (or at least claim to), not only don't have reasons, they spend a decade arguing that reasons are transphobic. But, what they do say is never intended to persuade people. It's virtue signaling, so they can feel good, or intended to shame people into silence and acquiescence. Such as 1) Shut up bigot. Clearly not an actual argument, not a rational thought, not something meant to influence anyone who cares about what is true 2) In a similar vein, "That's a bad faith question". This is an easy out. It gives someone the high ground, but they don't have to think about it 3) "We should believe people when they tell us who they are" This isn't an argument that is used for anything else. Indeed, when someone identifies as black, they are quick to refute it. This is simple intellectual laziness 4) A woman is anyone who identifies as a woman. Apart from being meaningless and circular, this is deeply misogynistic. The person saying this, is saying that to them, women are so unimportant and irrelevant, that there is not characteristic that makes someone a woman, no reason to keep something just for women, anyone can get into women's spaces on just their word 5) Trump agrees with you. It's hard to believe anyone thinks this is an argument. It's a direct admission that the person making it doesn't care about the truth, but sees this as entirely tribal 6) Men and women are social roles. They rarely say what these roles are, mostly because they recognize this is sexism gone wild. For 100 years, feminists fought against the idea that what women could do and be was limited, that they could do whatever they wanted, be whatever they want, but now we have these misogynists saying "Actually no, if you are a woman, there are certain ways you have to behave, things that interests you, types of jobs you should do". But they only say this because they think it helps give men access to women. They don't really believe it. Being pregnant is about as much of a social role for women as it's possible to have, but they will happily accept the concept of a pregnant man 7) Sex isn't real anyway. Or some variation of why there are issues defining by sex. This is following the Creationist model. They think that if they can cast doubt on the other view, their view somehow wins by default. This is not only scientifically illiterate, but they are adding racism to their misogyny. To claim that sex isn't important is claiming that FGM, selective infanticide and abortion, child marriages, honour killings are just not important. They mostly happen to brown people, so they are not something we need to understand or address, and it is more important that men who think they are women feel validated than it is to accurately describe the root causes of abuses like these 8) We shouldn't define woman as will exclude some trans women 9) we shouldn't define woman as it is telling trans people they need to justify their own existence 8) Sometimes, the people may talk about how hard it is to live with dysphoria. These are in the minority now I think, as most supporters will acknowledge there is no need for dysphoria, no need for the trans woman to feel uncomfortable about his penis, or even to want to take estrogen, His claim of being a woman is enough. IT's nt just that they don't know what the man means, or why he thinks some feeling he has makes him a woman, they don't care. The man who feels a woman is a gaping vacant hole to be penetrated and so wants to be one, and the girl who doesn't want to be objectified so thinks she is a bot are just the same to these awful people - insert image 10) Science. Occasionally, there may be some ill thought out reference to science. Many trans people don't like this, because as with defining it, it would mean many people claiming trans status are not really trans. But not only does the science not hold up - there are no brain scans that can identify any trans people, it's also irrelevant. Finding an area of the brain that is more similar to women than men in trans women doesn't tell us that this does anything, or give us any reason for using this as what makes someone a woman. IT also harks back to the idea of male and female brains, that men are good at some things, and women at others. The misogyny is never far away with trans supporters

I over estimate people. I really thought the replies would be “There is no one stupid enough to fall for this” and its mostly just people outraged and suggesting they be sent to a different returns queue
BREAKING - Liberals in California are now standing in line at Home Depot to purchase a single 17-cent scraper, only to return it and get back in line to purchase another, aiming to freeze sales in protest of Home Depot allowing ICE to conduct operations in their stores.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The story is from November 2025 and is not "Breaking News." The LA Times reported on this on November 22, 2025. latimes.com/california/sto…

Perhaps what is most interesting is she selects quotes that for some reason, she think supports him His claim to have raised is likely true because the charities were large, so his contribution would have been small How does that make sense to anyone? His claim to be non verbal until 11 is disproven because some people have selective mutism The plagiarism claims were found to be false, but it also found he did copy portions without attribution (ie plagiarism) His claims to have appeared in 7up, and that he was followed every 7 years are false because he later claimed it was an informal community initiative to help black mothers whose children have complex learning needs An informal initiative that followed someone every seven years? And he was pulled out at 14, rather than whatever would have happened at 21?

As i keep seeing people pretending to think that Arday’s case is just the same as other minor cases Not just the plagiarism, the ridiculous fantasies - non verbal till 11, unable to read and write till 18, still unable to read more than one page an hour, running 600m, running 30 marathons in 35, the last few with a broken leg, raising millions for charity, doing that as part of a consortium but he can’t name them because of an NDA, a masked man threatening him in his office, who not only evaded security, but the security cameras, and then he forgot to tell people, a pig’s head sent to him He was a,so a public figure. Appeared on multiple TV panels, including question time. He was. Ot some anonymous random academic like the others who faced accusations. New York Times summary - this emphasizes the “well, other academics, it has been just a minor story”. It was barely even a minor story with him the first time.

These people hate women. What racist dictionary is he using that said “black athletes aren’t women because they are male” and how would that have even been an argument? By “every single argument”, he means “I have no idea why anyone would actually care about women, so I don’t know why they want women’s sports to be female only. Rather than finding out, I’ll make something up”
*every single* argument against trans athletes in sports was used against black people in sports. every single line. they have an unfair genetic advantage, they're taking spots from white athletes, they're making it unsafe. all of it

This is just insane. Basically “no one would have cared about his plagiarism and lies if he was white. It’s such a double standard. And if all the allegations turn out to be true, it’s ok, because he’s black, so needed to make things up for fair treatment”

I did something before, but lost it, so decided once more to do an examination of men's vs women's times. I chose the 100m for in depth analysis, plus an overall look at other athletics and swimming events.

I keep seeing this and pointing out that it is wrong. Not just a little, but so wrong that even her own side doesn’t believe it For those that doubt, which statement donthey think incorrect 1) TRAs think trans girls are girls 2) TRAs mostly know trans girls are male 3) TRAs are capable of accepting that in sports, although it is called “women’s sport”, the protected class is actually “female” 3 was accepted in the recent trans sports cases at the Supreme Court, not only by the majority, but by the three liberals as well as the plaintiffs - including the ACLU Anyone who accepts all three (which is the majority) proves the statement wrong

On the trans court case, it is interesting how few people who don’t like the result are being honest about it, and how few of them have any desire to change minds. Hardly any are saying “this is unfair, these trans girls are suffering, how can I persuade people who support it that they are wrong”, instead they are going with “l’ll lie about what the ruling was, and rather than listening to my opponents, I’ll just invent motivations and insist their position is based on malice, to ensure they don’t have to listen to anything I say”

Final day of the Supreme Court and for the big three cases, it gets them right. Not a surprise, language would have to be contorted out of all recognition otherwise, but still a relief.

Lol. Someone claimed that a TRA was stalking her and using her former name. I sarcastically asked if this made her feel, una1v1ng herself (not the word i used) and had my account suspended for encouraging su1c1de unless I deleted it. I had the option to appeal, but I think most of the time, the appeals are pointless as they are not seen by a human. I can’t believe any rational or normal person would genuinely think this was encouragement to s*****e. People who are unaware might not understand, but anyone familiar with TRAs and their tactics know that they like to suggest “deadnaming” can lead to suicide, and that calling a woman by her maiden name is the equivalent of “deadnaming” - I’ve even seen cartoons making this point So, I don’t know if it was some complaint, by either a TRA or a moron, or some AI detection

First step in the campaign to replace fire fighters with firemen and firewomen I assume
The Fire Brigades Union has made a statement on the proposed EHRC Code of Practice on Services. Our message is clear. Equality matters, solidarity is essential, and we will continue to fight for both.

Same for having a women’s space of any sort. If men really wanted to harm women, they’d just do it
Never understood the argument against trans women in women’s toilets, if they really wanted to harm women, they’d just do it, regardless of who they are
132
Example number 1000 (probably) of a TRA saying “why would anyone possibly care about other people. Unless they are actually interested in women’s leagues, what possible reason other than hatred could anyone think the women using them have any rights?”

I suspect he actually hates women. To spread this man’s lie, as though it was truth shows at the minimum total contempt for any woman that dares to say “no” to men

One comment I saw a few times was (paraphrasing) “it’s not unfair, Lauren Hubbard who took the place of a young woman and got an Olympic place despite being a decade older than anyone else, and well past the accepted prime, and who got nowhere near while competing as a man, finished last” It’s so odd that they choose someone who so clearly got in because of male advantage to argue there is no male advantage.
