Notebook uses zero-knowledge cryptography to create a new paradigm for identity verification, giving
users full control of their data and allowing them to retain their privacy. You can read more about what
we are doing here: coindesk.com/business/2022/1…
Currently, when users create on-chain credentials or go through identity verification processes, they are
required to disclose their wallet and personal information to a centralized institution without knowing
how the data will be used, stored, or monetized.
Notebook is paving the way towards mass adoption of DeFi by enabling Web3 protocols to trust their
users without requiring users to compromise their anonymity.
We are proud to announce that Notebook Labs has completed a $3.3 million seed round to help enhance
our zero-knowledge identity infrastructure layer that enables Web3 protocols to create Sybil-resistant log-
ins and users to enjoy anonymity and privacy.
Awesome day for our team at Notebook Labs! This funding round will help us achieve our goal of solving the Web3 identity problem by using ZK to provide both anonymous proof-of-humanity and credential aggregation. Thanks to our investors for believing in our mission!
Congrats to the team @NotebookLabs on the round!
Notebook (YC S22) offers web3 organizations a way to verify the identity of its users without compromising anonymity through a technology called zero-knowledge (zk) proofs: coindesk.com/business/2022/1…
