An out-of-body experience
#Fueled my desire to write
Every dream became
A direct message
From the spirit world
Now—
I dip in and out
of my subconscious
Like a quill to ink
That the line has
Become somewhat blurred

Black pyramids
On mountain slopes
Plagued the valley below
For years with #nervous dread
Tip 07
Saturated by
Weeks of rain
Slid down waves of pain
It surged through the village
And Pantglas Junior School
144 lives taken away
60 yrs ago today

A.A. Milne
had known
the chaos,
the noise,
the pain,
the terrible cost
of trench #bravery
Yet,
through woodland walks
& his son’s cherished toys
he found the strength to heal
And
through Pooh
helped his wounded country
find a lil comfort
in its grief

Insecurity’s Horror Show
stars the monster of self-doubt
rolling snowballs of what-ifs.
Down Victory #Mountain
the crushing pressure
creates an avalanche of fear—
so great, its weight
holds back the dreamer
Will she rise above
and conquer her fate?

raise the veil
misty #clouds
turn every act
into auburn rage
ruled by our chaos
of ghostly slapstick fun
you may wish to run
rather than stay
in your seat
when the headless man’s wife
swoops from the stage
with a carving knife &
cuts your curtain short

She struts to the front
wearing an intoxicating
#passion fruit smile
& rainbow of shaded-pink attire
No safety demo is ever shown
on Jet Stick—
For there are no emergency exits
close or behind
the ill-inclined
repeat flight offenders

There once lived an empath
who #consoled her soul
by rocking back and forth,
cradling herself from side to side
when life took its toll
She did this to jiggle
and wiggle the broken pieces
hoping they’ll fit back into place
so someday
she could feel whole

The end-of-life doula
strolls into the
chorus of Hallelujah
Her bedside manner
is unmatched—
#empathetic, yet
unattached
She listens intently,
jotting down their final wishes
while gently giving them
the taste of tomorrow’s sunshine
Creation’s final design

Whatever mischief
Those in power may plan
The #Broom Brigade’s
Duty is to protect
Every woman and man
They may have made
Magic a crime
When witchcraft
was first outlawed
In 1541
…dark times
But our natural
Need to defend
Is far less dramatic
And will never end
